FKA Twigs Details Abuse During Relationship With 'Twilight' Star Robert Pattinson

The relationship between English singer-songwriter FKA twigs and English actor Robert Pattinson, was one which was loved by few, and disliked by many.

We often see celebrity couples together all the time, with fans just rooting for their relationship and all, then there are fans who just dislike the relationship, and think pushing nasty comments will get them what they want, and end the relationship.

Celebrities have feelings, and fans trying to impose which famous person is dateable and which isn't is totally uncalled-for and has been the norm for years. Fans even go to the extent of hating a relationship because of skin color.

After Robert Pattinson's very public breakup from his “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart, he started hanging out with FKA Twigs. Rumors of them dating began when they were seen arm-in-arm in several occasions.

There were also rumors that the two got engaged several months after rumors of them dating sufficed the internet, however, Pattinson said the whole engagement thing was a prank. People didn't believe that, as reports still came in about the engagement's realness.

Again, there were rumors of their breakup in late 2016, which was later debunked when the two arrived at the LA Dance Annual Gala.

Nevertheless, the couple indeed split in October 2017, and their break up seemed to be as a result of their work schedules. Reports confirmed that they couldn't stay together while still focusing on their individual careers, so they called it quits.

However, none of them ever came out to speak about what occurred between the two, so the actual reasons for the breakup were never really confirmed.

It also seems that Pattinson's family did not have much of a liking to Twigs. This may have also resulted in their breakup. While some fans were pleased with the breakup news, others were just sad.

During Twigs and Pattinson's relationship, she received a lot of racist comments from his fans, as she was apparently black and not what they wanted for the “Twilight” star.

Twigs recently spoke about how the statements broke her down, on the “Grounded Podcast” with Louis Theroux, she said “People just called me the most hurtful and ignorant and horrible names on the planet.”

She also said “He was their white prince charming, and they considered he should be with someone white and blonde.” This means the fans wanted Pattinson to be with a white girl, or they wanted Kristen Stewart back.

Twigs moved on from her relationship with Pattinson, and got into a relationship with Shia Labeouf, although she split from Labeouf in 2019. Now, the English singer-songwriter has sued her ex-boyfriend for physical, emotional and mental abuse. She claimed that she received “relentless” abuse from him during the course of the relationship.

Labeouf however, denied these allegations saying that many of them aren't true. He however admitted to some of his misconducts in the past, saying he was “ashamed” of them. He also talked about how he was sorry to those he had hurt.

We can only wait to see the outcome of everything.
