Tarek El Moussa Gushes Over Heather Rae Young On Instagram

Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young celebrated their 18-month anniversary over the weekend and as they enjoyed a special dinner date in New York City to honor the occasion, the "Flip or Flop" star shared a heartfelt statement to his "Selling Sunset" fiancé on Instagram.

Along with a cuddled up photo of the two of them on January 23, Tarek said that it is incredible to think how much his life has changed in such a short period of time.

"Yesterday was our 18 month anniversary and I love this girl more and more by the day!" he wrote.

Looking back at the start of his relationship with Heather, Tarek described their whirlwind romance. 

"I came home with [Heather Rae Young] after [four] days of dating, she moved in, and we never looked back. She has exponentially improved the lives of everyone in my family," the real estate expert explained. 

"Everyone said I was crazy but here we are engaged almost two years later. She’s our rock, our best friend, and my hunny bunny. We love you to the moon and back."

"[I] can’t wait to take more photos like this in fun places like New York City! I can’t wait to continue to build this life with you," Tarek added. "You make me a better man."

After seeing what her future husband had to say, Heather shared a response to his kind words in the comments section of his post. 

"I love you, the kids, this photo, our memories and Our beautiful life together. My best friend, my everything, my rock, my motivator. You make me a better woman," she shared.

From his first marriage to ex-wife Christina, Tarek is dad to daughter Taylor, 10, and son Brayden, 5, both of whom appear to be big fans of Heather.

In November of last year, during an appearance on PEOPLE TV's "Reality Check" with Daryn Carp, Tarek said that while he couldn't confirm quite yet where he and Heather would say "I do," he was able to reveal that they had called off plans to get married on Catalina Island, where they had gotten engaged.

As Tarek explained, he and Heather aren't planning to get married during a large wedding, at least according to their own standards. 

"We don't want to have a super big wedding, but our small wedding is probably gonna be someone else's big wedding, so we'll see how things go. But we're planning on doing it far enough out to where hopefully the pandemic settles down a little," he shared.
