Trevor Ariza filed a temporary restraining order against his estranged ex-wife after claiming she ripped the hair out of his head!
Trevor Ariza Makes Insane Claims About Ex-Wife's Abuse
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the basketball player has filed a request for restraining order against Bree Anderson getting very specific about his wife’s alleged attack against him. He claims that back in April 2020, his ex-wife was jealous and in a rage that Trevor’s new girlfriend had called him.
“Bree grabbed me by my hair and violently ripped a dreadlock right out of my scalp. Bree almost entirely ripped a second dreadlock out of my scalp as well. This second dreadlock was left dangling from my scalp by a few hairs,” he writes.
Adding, the incident happened AFTER she supposedly tried to steer the car off the road, saying, "In a fit of jealously, Bree leaned toward to the driver’s seat and with her right hand forcefully pulled the steering wheel toward the passenger seat. Bree’s unexpected and dangerous action nearly caused me to lose complete control of my vehicle. My car abruptly veered over two lanes of traffic to the right.”
Trevor Ariza Is In Fear For His Kids
Trevor shared in the court docs that he is in fear for his children’s lives after seeing how his ex-wife behaved. In the filing, he says that she has been physically harmful toward the children due to a suspected anger issue.
He described an incident where he was allegedly physically with their two children after a middle school basketball game. At the time, he says he made sure to point out that another parent saw this and expressed concern. He also says he has endured Bree yelling racial slurs at him in front of their children in addition to getting physical with him by throwing bottles at him and closed fist punching him in the arms and chest.
Bree Anderson Makes Her Own Allegati0ns Against Him
In Trevor’s filing, he addresses Bree’s domestic violence order against him and described it as a tactic. "I genuinely interpret Bree’s application for a DVRO as an underhanded trial tactic employed to frustrate Tristan and Taylor’s ability to have a meaningful relationship with me and to force me into giving her more money and her attorneys more money.”
He went on to state that he refuses to take this and instead, “I am filing my within request for a DVRO to protect Tristan, Taylor, and me from any further acts of Bree’s abusive conduct and coercive control. Although I sincerely wanted to keep our family’s affairs private.”
He went on to say, “I hope the court will see through Bree’s recent cruel and underhanded litigation tactic."
Trevor Ariza Just Wants Peace
The former NBA player ended his filing by insisting that he is looking for peace within his personal life including the mess his ex-wife is pursuing.
"I am extremely worried about Tristan and Taylor and live in genuine fear for their safety and emotional well-being. Now that our children have been entirely removed from my care due to the February 14, 2023, TRO.”
He continues on to say, “I feel absolutely helpless in my ability to protect our children and ask for the court’s assistance to protect Tristan and Taylor from their mother’s continued abusive and highly inappropriate conduct which is escalating as evidenced by the January 31, 2023 incident."
Trevor is seeking sole legal and physical custody of his children and allotting her to have supervised visitation.
