Singer Wynonna Judd shared some new information with fans as she approaches the final week of The Judds Tour.
Her mother, country singer Naomi Judd, took her own life last April. The two made up the country music duo known as The Judds and were supposed to perform their final tour together later that year.
Unfortunately, due to her mother's passing, Wynonna decided to continue the tour solo. However, she wasn't alone. Many stars in the country music community showed up to help her pull off the tour, including singer Brandi Carlile.

In her latest Instagram post, Wynonna shared a black-and-white photo of the two on tour together. “Thinking about a lot this week, as we approach the final weekend of The Judds tour…” she wrote.
“When mom died in April of last year, @brandicarlile was the first to respond. She flew all the way to Nashville {twice} to sing at {both} memorials. I will never forget her kindness and her tender heart toward my family.”
“Then came the start of the tour. She showed up once again. Brandi knew every word to every song, every note, every breath. She showed up to every soundcheck, every rehearsal, ready & willing to sing on every song,” she explained. “I really don’t know anyone like this woman, she’s in a class all by herself. She’s one of my favorite people on the planet, of course professionally, and now personally.”
“The fact that this tour started in September with Brandi, and is ending with her this weekend…is something that is so sacred to me. I am so thankful for this woman and her gift,” she concluded. “Savannah, Tampa, Hollywood…I promise you won’t be disappointed.”
