Ryan Reynolds is hailed as one of the most iconic actors of the last two decades. Although the 44-year-old actor arguably had his big break in 2009 with the movie “The Proposal” (as a fan favorite romantic-comedy for many movie goers) his first major roles actually occurred between 1998 and 2002. His first TV lead role was in the sitcom “Two Guys and a Girl” (1998-2001) and his first movie role was in “National Lampoon's Van Wilder” (2002).

Yet no matter who you ask today, Ryan is indisputably one of the most memorable characters to ever appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after playing his now legendary rendition of “Deadpool”.

A Legend

The irony of his career stems completely from his deeply rooted love for improvisation and humor. Because of his often romantic witticisms (that could be described as a lighthearted version of Harrison Ford from “Star Wars”) Ryan scored numerous films with a myriad of characters he would play.

From the serious action roles like in “Blade: Trinity” (2004), to drama films like “Woman In Gold” (2015), Ryan is a multifaceted actor with incredible method capabilities. Plus, he was listed as PEOPLE’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2010!

His latest posts have frequently taken the internet by storm due to their unorthodox approach in creating advertisements. The hilarious self-deprecating or otherwise ridiculous nature of Ryan’s commercials has been so successful that the media has begun to applaud him as a business genius.

And yet, videos like those aren’t even the most iconic things he’s posted recently! He just shared a photoshopped picture of himself dressed up as Deadpool sitting on the side of a building next to former Presidential nominee Bernie Sanders!

Rather fittingly, along with posting that aforementioned photo, he also shared a video advertisement for his cell-service brand “Mint Mobile”. The video shows Ryan detailing how instead of spending “a lot” of money on political lobbying like other big cell companies do (according to Ryan) he decided to put his money on providing higher amounts of data included with the plans that are being offered.

Oh but he did spend $15 buying the favor of a blonde dog named “Mayor Max”, so he isn’t totally against lobbying.

Here are some of the comments that Ryan received on his Mint Mobile video post:

“Yes! Switch to Mint Mobile, where they donate to real dogs who deserve it, not human dogs who don’t.” (Commentator) “Dogs are better at politics anyways! ???” (Commentator) “This man could sell anything” (Commentator) “When will we have this in Canada?” (Commentator) “This guys the goat ?” (Commentator) “I have mint ? ?? it delicious” (Commentator) “Love Mayor Max and Idyllwild!!!!” (Commentator)

Ryan is in the business of making people laugh!… And cell phone service plans.
