'RHOC' Star Braunwyn Windham-Burke Addresses Drama With Shannon Beador's Boyfriend John Janssen

Braunwyn Windham-Burke addressed her recent drama with Shannon Beador and her boyfriend, John Janssen, on "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

After seemingly starting drama between the couple by repeating a rumor she heard which suggested John had been booted from a golf tournament because he was too intoxicated to continue, the mother of seven appeared on "Watch What Happens Live," where she insisted to host Andy Cohen that she did not mean for the report to be addressed on camera.

“I told Emily that off camera," Braunwyn explained. 

According to Braunwyn, the things she said about John off-screen will be discussed by her and her co-stars during the upcoming two-part "Real Housewives of Orange County" reunion, and likely, questions will be answered in terms of who said it and what their motivation was. 

"There was a lot of things that Shannon was telling us that… on camera and off-camera," Braunwyn alleged. 

"I heard that from a few people and I didn’t want to say it on camera because I wasn’t there," she added. 

As fans have seen from the "Real Housewives of Orange County" reunion trailer, Braunwyn  and the many things she said to her cast mates, including Shannon, will be mentioned on the show. So, when it comes to the truth behind her negative comments about John, she may be forced to own up during the taping.

"So I actually said it to Emily because I had gotten really close [to her]," Braunwyn explained of the odd golf story she repeated about John. 

According to Braunwyn, she discussed what she had heard about John with Emily after her relationship with Shannon became strained. 

As fans have seen on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Braunwyn and Shannon started off as friends during season 15 but after Braunwyn suggested she had spoken ill about the house of Gina Kirschenheiter, things between them took a quick turn for the worse. 

In fact, months after the incident took place, the ladies were still at odds over the topic.

"Shannon had pushed me away for a little while. So I said that off-camera out of genuine concern," Braunwyn explained of her comment. "I didn’t want it to air. I actually reached out to John after the reunion to make amends to him because I didn’t want that being on the show."
