Megan Fox Sides With Sophie Lloyd Amid MGK Cheating Scandal: 'Your First Unwarranted PR Disaster'

Megan Fox is all about women supporting women, even in the face of her broken relationship.
The sensational actress, who has dominated Hollywood as one of the industry's sexiest stars for years, is currently at the receiving end of an alleged cheating scandal that might end her romance with Machine Gun Kelly.
While the jury is still out about her engagement to the rock star, the Tennessee beauty is clearing the air about the artist's alleged mistress. In a recent return to social media, the 36-year-old absolved guitarist Sophie Lloyd of any wrongdoings.
Megan Fox Makes A Grand Comeback To Instagram For Sophie Lloyd
When the drama between the "Jennifer's Body" star and her fiancé began, most fans assumed another woman was in the picture. Lloyd, a guitarist who joined Kelly on his 2022 world tour, became the scapegoat for the internet's wrath.
However, Fox did not ideally watch while an innocent woman's dignity was dragged into the mud. Underneath a promotional post for the metal enthusiast's upcoming single "Fall of Men," the actress clapped back at those spreading false rumors.
"How me making a joke in order to absolve this girl of a hurtful accusation somehow turned into confirmation of it - I will never understand," the "Transformers" star began, lamenting over the groundless infidelity speculations.
"Why are people so... so dumb," the mother-of-three continued before advising Lloyd to chin up. "Sophie, you are insanely talented. Welcome to Hollywood. Your first unwarranted PR disaster. You have been baptized by the flames of fame."
The Tennessee native concluded her powerful message, "It only gets worse from here, unfortunately. Just ignore it as much as you can. Middle finger up," setting the record straight that there was zero bad blood between her and the guitarist.
Touched by her writeup, the blonde musician sweetly responded with a pink heart emoji alongside the words, "the internet is so wild! Sending so much love, @meganfox."
In retrospect, Lloyd would not have been dragged into the infidelity mess if not for Fox's cryptic post that started the flames. Per the Blast, the "Jonah Hex" star sent fans into a worried frenzy after sharing a video of burning items in a trash can.
Adding to the buzz, the 36-year-old's caption read, "You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath" — a line from Beyoncé's "Pray You Catch Me" song on her "Lemonade" album. In the comment, a fan suspected the post applied to MGK, who might have cheated on Fox with Lloyd, writing, "He probably got with Sophie."
However, the Scream Award winner refuted the claim by writing, "maybe I got with Sophie" alongside a fire emoji. After her obscure response, the media personality unfollowed her fiancé, deleted all their pictures, and deactivated her account.
Given her actions, fans safely assumed there was trouble in MGK and Fox's paradise. Following the backlash Lloyd received, the guitarist was forced to clear her name via a statement.
"Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media," her management team explained in a statement.
Noting that their client had never acted in an "unprofessional manner" with Kelly, the representative implored the media to stop spreading unfounded accusations. "It's disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else," they said.
The 'Rogue' Star's Return To Instagram Featured A New Post About Her Relationship
After a short hiatus following her cryptic post, Fox returned to Instagram on February 19 after cleansing her account of everything MGK and unfollowing everyone. The mom-of-three returned to stop the media's superfluous coverage of the truth by updating her now-empty page with a statement
Sharing a screenshot of a note typed on the same day, the "Midnight in the Switchgrass" actress explained that a "third party" did not influence her actions or her relationship with the "Wild Boy" rapper.
"There has been no third-party interference in this relationship of any kind," Fox began in her statement. "That includes, but is not limited to..actual humans, DMs, Al bots, or succubus demons."
She sarcastically continued, "While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now."
