Although Alec Baldwin didn't share a tribute to his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, on Valentine's Day, it looks like the two weren't shy about recalling the night that they first met twelve years ago.

On Saturday afternoon, the Boston native took to Instagram to share a throwback snap of her sitting with the "30 Rock" actor at the popular Italian restaurant Emporio in New York City.

In the caption of her Instagram post, Hilaria shared a single photo that showed her sitting on the restaurant. Alec is sitting beside her, his eyes closed, as he leans the side of his head against hers. “This photo is probably a yearish after we met??? @emporionyc (both much younger and less?),” she wrote in the caption.

“12 years ago, this night, we met,” she wrote, adding a touching tribute to their relationship. “What a journey we have had been through, to, in, and around and continuing…every emotional place I don’t think either one of us could have ever predicted. But here we are…still standing, surrounded by all of you amazing humans, our tiny babes…and together. In it with you, Alec…I’m here, we are here…never alone.”

(I can still carry her, but there might be a lot of puffing.) Te quiero, mi vida. Y gracias para nuestros niños.”

Although Hilaria moderates comments on her Instagram page, it appears that Alec does not. Although there were some positive comments on his post, there were also plenty of negative ones.

Hilaria has been blasted for her “Spanish” heritage since 2020, especially after fans found out that Hilaria Baldwin was really born Hillary Thomas in Massachusetts. She has since been accused of “impersonating a Spanish person” and talking in a “fake” Spanish accent.

“Enough with the Spanish affectation,” one user commented on Alec’s post. “Did you find her in Spain?” another follower asked. “I love this couple BUT I was disappointed to find out your wife is faking the whole Spaniard thing. Why!? Stay true to yourselves,” another follower chimed in. “She couldn’t read the first 2 paragraphs. Please translate for her lol,” another user wrote.
