"The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley and his wife, Ines de Ramon, are officially pulling the plug on their three-year marriage.
In September 2022, the former couple announced that they had split, although it wasn't a surprise to many fans. In August, the 40-year-old actor had been seen promoting his brand of Brothers Bond Bourbon in New York City with its cofounder and his on-screen "TVD" brother, actor Ian Somerhalder. However, several fans noticed that Wesley was not wearing his wedding ring at the event.
In February 2023, the popular actor, born Paul Wasilewski, filed for divorce from his wife, who has already begun dating "Bullet Train" actor Brad Pitt.

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Paul Wesley and Anita Ko Jewelry professional Ines de Ramon are ready to pull the plug on their marriage after announcing the separation last year.
The couple, who officially tied the knot on August 25, 2018, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. When it comes to the division of property, the court papers state that “All such assets and debts, if any, as are ascertained and discovered according to proof at the time of trial, or as disposed of pursuant to a written stipulation of the parties.”
The former couple reportedly shared a rescue country dog named Gregory but had no children together.
This is Paul's second marriage. The actor previously tied the knot with "Beautiful People" actress Torrey DeVitto in 2011. The former couple announced their split in July 2013 and finalized their divorce in December.

In September 2022, a rep for Paul Wesley confirmed the split in a statement to PEOPLE magazine and revealed that the couple had actually parted ways around April 2022.
“A rep for PW and IR has confirmed that they have separated,” the statement read. “The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago. They request privacy at this time.”
According to Us Weekly, the former couple sparked rumors of their involvement when they were first spotted holding hands after a dinner date in June 2018. The following month, Wesley made their relationship public when he shared a photo of the two together at a wedding in Montauk alongside former "The Vampire Diaries" costar Nina Dobrev.

In February 2019, fans speculated that the couple had secretly tied the knot when they were spotted in New York with what appeared to be matching wedding rings.
A few months later, in June, Nina Dobrev seemed to accidentally let slip that the couple had gotten married when she referred to Ines as Paul's "wife" on an episode of the Directionally Challenged podcast, as reported by PEOPLE.
“We hang out a lot,” Nina said of her relationship with Paul at the time. “We’re really good friends. I love his wife. It’s so funny how time changes everything because I never thought he would be one of my best friends.”
Wesley and Dobrev starred together as love interests on the supernatural drama series "The Vampire Diaries," which ran on the CW from 2009 to 2017. Although plenty of fans speculated that their on-screen romance would spill over into real life, the two have never been anything more than just friends.
The "Degrassi: The Next Generation" actress is currently dating retired Olympic snowboarder Shaun White and rang in the new year together in Antarctica.

Although Ines has since moved on with Brad Pitt, it looks like Paul Wesley is focusing on his career. Fans can look forward to seeing him star as the new Captain Kirk in "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds."
In a July 22 interview with Entertainment Weekly, the “Tell Me A Story” actor said that he “could give you about a hundred” adjectives and “it would still not really describe” what it feels like to play the role of Captain Kirk.
“Obviously, it is incredibly daunting,” he said. “Ever since I got the role of Kirk, I’ll literally be speaking to someone and there’s a massive language barrier and I can’t quite communicate certain words. Then I’ll say ‘Captain Kirk.’ There’s nobody on the face of planet earth… or I should say, most 99 percent of people know who Captain Kirk is. That is crazy.”
