YFN Lucci has been one of the hottest rappers out of Atlanta since 2014 as he's had countless hit records. Among them are "I Wonder Why" featuring Skooly, "Heartless" feat. Rick Ross, "Key to The Streets" feat. Migos and Trouble, and most recently, "Wet" feat. Mulatto.
Things appear to be crashing down for Lucci though as he is being charged for reportedly being involved in the murder of 28-year-old James Adams, according to CBS 46. This occurred in the southwest area of the city.
Lucci Has Been Hit With Multiple Charges, Including Murder
The charges on the table for Lucci are very serious. He's being accused of aggravated assault, felony murder, participation in criminal street gang activity, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
On December 10, police were sent out at 5:20pm as Adams was found on the 900 block of Peeples Street with a gunshot in his head.
Adams was then transported to Grady Hospital as he didn't make it as a result of his injuries. Police are still looking for Lucci.
A Second Man Was Also Shot But Survived
Adams wasn't the only man injured that night. CBS 46 added that 32-year-old Kevin Wright went to a local fire station in a "private vehicle." There, he was shot but ended up surviving his injuries.
Atlanta Police Homicide Investigators have since launched an investigation and believe that these two shootings may be related.
The Fulton County District Attorney's Office and the Georgia Bureau Of Investigation added that 23-year-old Ra'von Boyd and 17-year-old Leroy Pitts were also arrested in connection to the shootings.
Social Media Is Surprised By Lucci's Situation
As mentioned, Lucci still hasn't turned himself into authorities. TMZ added that police are asking the public for help in arresting him and an eventual indictment. As of now, $5,000 is on the table.
Lucci has been off the radar since this information came out as he's since been promoting the music video for his "Lucci 1da" single.
Fans have since taken to social media to discuss Lucci's current circumstances. Many are surprised that he put himself in this situation and others question if he is actually a suspect.
YFN Lucci better have a great reason because if not he's toast.
