Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin‘s thigh gap needs to be seen to be believed. The 31-year-old five-time Olympic medalist, recently in the news for covering up during her snowy Montana travels, was back to the skimpy action today Tuesday, posting a series of throwbacks on her Instagram and treating her 1 million followers to everything from childhood moments to ones she admitted didn’t reflect the happy smile seen. It’s always popular with Nastia in swimwear. Check it out, plus Nastia’s best photos, below.
Scroll for the bikini action. If you don’t live inside Nastia’s Instagram, the 2008 all-around Olympic champion is a major fashionista, with the throwback showing it as she went luxury and designer in a Fendi bikini.
Nastia’s photo was a response to a “post a pic of” prompt, and this one was seeing a fan ask Liukin for her favorite swimsuits and collections. The result was the blonde posting an outdoor shot with one leg bent, a massive foot arch show, and one heck of a bikini body.
Nastia, who went goddess-like as she cocked her head to the side with eyes closed, replied that it was “hard to pick just one,” but she nailed her choice. The snap showed Nastia’s Gold Medal Legs and cheese-grater abs, with the star rocking a neon-piped and monogrammed Fendi bikini ear-marking her fashionista edge.
Nastia might update in designer clothes, but she’ll totally admit that the reality is: “sitting on the couch by the fireplace watching the snow fall outside. netflix suggestions??”

Nastia has been upping her side gig game since retiring aged just 22 back in 2012. The “Dancing With the Stars” face is a mean business hustler, and it looks like her $55 Celery Green Cream with Volition is about to get backed by a dog brand, one that’s named after her 2020-acquired pooch Harley. Watch out for Harley And Me, although if you don’t care about dog toys or accessories, there’s more of this fantastic gymnast below.
See her insane stretch!
In 2016, Nastia opened up to The Cut, admitting that quitting the beam so young was tough, even leaving her feeling like a fish out of water.
“I felt so lost for a good year,” she said. “I gained probably 10 to 20 pounds, because when you stop doing something and just go cold turkey your body doesn’t even know what to do. I finally feel like I’ve found my rhythm again.”
If gymnast Simone Biles rings a bell, scroll for her removing her chest piercing in a bikini.
