He wrote in the snap’s caption, “Happy Valentine’s Day,” before tagging his fiancée to the picture. Before the end of February 14th, the sweethearts shared dinner. However, that was when things went wrong.

Taking to Instagram to share how unlikely the dinner was, Chase said in his video that they had a frozen pizza. But as they ate it, he noticed that the pizza tasted weird, describing the taste as “horses’ a**.” That prompted him to look at the pizza box, and to their surprise, they saw that it had expired in January 2021.

Medders also took to Instagram to share why they had frozen pizza for dinner. In the video on her Instagram stories, she explained, “ Ok y’all, just to preface why we had pizza for our Valentine’s meal was because that was what Chase wanted. And it just happened to be expired.”

In the background, Chrisley claimed he didn’t want “frozen pizza.” However, Medders disclosed that she ate all and felt fine, to which her fiancé replied, "yeah, and that's your problem. but that was nasty. I told you a horse's a**"

Medders then concluded her updating informing fans that they were ending the special day by watching Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon’s movie, "Your Place or Mine."

Fans would recall that the duo engaged last year after a not-so-steady romance. The Blast published that Medders talked about how shaky their romance was on an episode of Savannah Chrisley’s podcast. While chatting with Savannah, the 26-year-old explained the struggles she and her lover faced in the relationship.

According to Medders, “We started talking right before COVID hit. It was on and off, and then we were doing really well, and then we did have one, like, major breakup where we didn’t talk for like — I want to say it was two months, but it was probably more like two weeks.”

Regardless of the break, the couple got back together and continued to work things out — leading to their engagement.

In response, Chase said, “I don’t owe the public an explanation,” he told his sister. “I don’t need to explain how I feel to anybody, other than the people that I care about and I love. Obviously, what we have been going through is hell, it is a terrible, terrible situation, but I have to try and find the good, even in the darkest time.”

Chase further shed light on his reasons for keeping silent amidst the drama. In his words, “I think … I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m not going to worry about what everybody else [in] the world is thinking and saying about me.”

The Tv personality continued, “I have to make sure that I’m good, so that I can be good for Emmy. I have to make sure my family is good emotionally and that I am in a [good] place emotionally so I can be there for my loved ones. That’s why I haven’t really said anything on Instagram. I feel like I’ve been doing the work behind the scenes, and I feel like that will pay off and let the work speak for itself.”
