With all the controversy of their relationship, a legal expert has stated that Holmes' multiple affairs may affect his custody battle with Fiebig. The expert, identified as Lisa Zeiderman, is a popular divorce attorney in New York and a partner at the Miller Zeiderman law firm.

Zeiderman pointed out that one of the judge's considerations would be the impact such a high-profile affair could have on their daughter. She said per The Sun, "This lack of privacy, and the degree to which a parent has contributed to that lack of privacy, I don't think would be helpful in a custody case."

The lawyer also said the court would examine how the affair would affect Holmes' ability to parent Sabine, who recently turned ten. She said, "Did they make choices to be with the person they have these extramarital affairs with at times that they could have been with their children?"
