Justin Hartley & Sofia Pernas Confirm Relationship Via Instagram

It's official! 

Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas are a couple. The pair went public with their relationship on New Year's Eve. In separate Instagram posts, the couple confirmed their romance while wishing their followers a Happy New Year.

Reports of 43-year-old Hartley's relationship with Pernas began in May 2020 when the couple was spotted kissing in public.

Hartley, who was going through a divorce from his second wife Chrishell Stause, kept mum about his new relationship.

However, it looks as if he and Sofia don't want to hide their love anymore.

Hartley and Pernas' first crossed paths back in 2015 when they were on the CBS soap opera "The Young and the Restless."

Hartley played the role of troubled Adam Newman, while Pernas portrayed Marisa Sierras. Although their characters never interacted onscreen, behind-the-scenes Justin and Sofia became close pals.

Their friendship continued following their exits from the show and their different career paths.

Sofia would go on to land a starring role on the CBS All Access show "Blood & Treasure."

As for Justin, his career skyrocketed thanks to the hit NBC series "This Is Us."

Hartley married his longtime girlfriend, actress Chrishell Stause in October 2017.

This was Hartley's second marriage. His first was to his "Passions" co-star Lindsay Korman, with whom he shares daughter, Isabella. Justin and Lindsay's marriage ended in May 2012 after eight years together, but the two remain on friendly terms.

The second time seemed to be the charm for Hartley, who wasn't shy about showing off his new bride.

However, Justin and Chrishell's picture-perfect life was about to be shattered. After two years of marriage, Hartley filed for divorce in November 2019, claiming the couple had been separated for some time.

Hartley and Stause's divorce has been anything, but amicable.

The "Selling Sunset" star has been very open about the pain she's felt from her divorce. In a tearful interview, the 39-year-old realtor told Bravo cameras she was blindsided by Hartley's divorce filing and received the news via text.

Stause also seemed to be upset when her ex was spotted out in public with his new gal. Shortly after photos surfaced of the couple together, Stause liked a series of tweets that seemed to imply Hartley had cheated on her with Pernas.

While Stause continues to spill secrets about her divorce, Hartley kept quiet. Although according to reports, Hartley's friends weren't thrilled about Stause's outspokenness and suggested there are two sides to every story.

It's been over a year since Hartley and Stause's split, and despite the bitterness, it seems the exes are moving on.

Hartley's now going public with Pernas, and the couple already has the support of Hartley's teen daughter Isabella.

As for Stause, she seems ready for love again.

The reality star is now dating "Dancing With the Stars" pro Keo Motsepe. The two met when Stause was a contestant on season 29 of the ABC series. Following the show's finale, she and Keo went public with their relationship via Instagram.
