Kardashian recently had a SKIMS pop-up store at the Century City Mall, which she told her fans about via Instagram, sharing highlights from the event.
The "KUWTK" star detailed the big event in a video, showing the building glowing purple and filled with people before she captured her SKIMS setup at the far end. The energy of event was bubbling, with fans more than excited to cop the brand's pieces and meet their idol at the same time.
Kardashian attached a lengthy message to the Insta Story video expressing her delight at the successful event, writing: "Having my own @skims pop up store at the Century City Mall means the world to me in so many ways."
Kim K further wrote about how she and her friends used to beg their parents to allow them to hang out there every weekend growing up before admitting, "That little girl never dreamed I would have my own store here, and I couldn't be more proud of my entire @skims team for making my wildest dreams come true."
In another clip, the socialite stole the spotlight as she could be seen striking different poses in front of her SKIMS set up while being photographed. Ariana Grande's "One Last Time" played in the background.
She was dressed in a two-piece body-hugging outfit from her brand featuring a cropped sleeveless blouse and leggings paired with a matching jacket hanging around her arms. Kardashian spiced up her outfit with a pair of black knee-high boots and chic-looking shades while she left her hair to fall loosely down her back and over one shoulder.
Her SKIMS pop-up store would likely include the recently launched Valentine's lingerie set, one of which she promoted on her Instagram earlier this month.
As The Blast reported, she donned a pink-colored silk onesie featuring hot pink lace trimmings and thin arm straps. Additionally, the lingerie had a slight ruffle with a cut out over her stomach, giving glimpses of her underboob. She opted for no jewelry in the snaps and packed her dark hair tightly into a braided ponytail.
One of the pictures showed her sitting sideways on a carpeted floor while she posed on her knees in the second, pouting at the camera. The budding attorney captioned the post, "Shop @skims Valentines Collection." Per the SKIMS website, the wear is "a cheeky, lace-adorned silk teddy with sexy front cut-out details. Features a plunging v-neck, flattering high-cut leg, adjustable straps, and 100% cotton gusset. Fits true to size."
It cost $88 and was almost sold out at the time. However, some fans found that outraging as they viewed the lingerie as "tacky," having little to no quality. In the comments, a user exclaimed, "Ok, I wasn't the only one Thinkin' it!!!! It's giving Shein," referring to the clothing company with a bad reputation for producing toxic outfits.
Another commenter agreed, saying the SKIMS clothing looked like a Shein lingerie worth $9. This prompted someone's reply: "annnnd it somehow costs $88." One other critic ranted, "This looks so cheap," and another expressed, "I thought the same thing, Like, who's so stupid to think this doesn't look cheaply/badly made."

February kicked off with a blast for Kardashian as she reportedly became $1 million richer following her speech at a Miami hedge fund conference.
The Blast reported that she was allegedly paid the huge amount to discuss her newly founded private equity establishment SKKY Partners, with her co-founder, Jay Simmons, at the iConnections Global Alts conference at the Fountainbleu hotel.
While the actual sum paid was not confirmed, it was alleged that every invitee paid $10,000 to hear the TV personality and other financiers speak at the occasion.
Alongside Kardashian, other notable figures in the financial sector were part of the panel, including prominent entrepreneur Mark Cuban, Galaxy CEO Mike Novogratz, and Anthony "The Mooch: Scaramucci. The SKIMS CEO was reported to have received thunderous applause upon her appearance on the stage to deliver her speech, with more attendees filling the room and spilling into the hallway.
