Year 2020 Tagged The Bella's Year! See How Far The Sisters Came

For many people, the year 2020 was a rollercoaster, with the good and bad, but for the former “WWE” stars Nikki and Brie Bella, the year was a great one.

The year started for the Bella twins with a joint pregnancy announcement, as they disclosed that they were due a week-and-a-half apart. Nikki, with her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev were expecting their first child, while Brie and her husband Daniel Bryan were expecting their second child.

At the time of the announcement, Nikki mentioned to “People” that it took her a week to believe she was with child. She also had enough confirmations to clear her doubts.

Brie joined the chat and said that most people are going to think it was a prank or that the pregnancy was planned, but it is near impossible to pull a pregnancy plan.

The twins had their baby boys a day apart and named them Matteo Chigvintsev and Buddy Danielson.

Before the season six premiere of their TV series “Total Bellas,” Nikki revealed that she was excited to share the pregnancy journey with everyone and joked that she couldn’t wait to spread her legs open for the world.

The joint pregnancy was not the only highlight for the Bella twins. Nikki and Chigvintsev’s engagement also aired on “E!.” The twins had a surprise relocation and released their memoir.

In June 2020, “Total Bellas” witnessed Russian- American Dancer Chigvintsev’s proposal to Nikki, and it was nothing short of captivating and romantic. The couple confirmed their engagement on “E!” and disclosed that they got engaged during their trip to France in November 2019.

The sweet proposal moment was captured on the “Total Bellas” screen, and fans were in awe when Chigvinstev declared his undying love for Nikki and said, “Love is a single soul inhabiting two bodies.” 

He continued his proposal by saying that the “WWE” superstar turned his world upside down in a beautiful way and concluded that he wanted to spend every waking moment with her before going down on one knee and popping the question.

In the season five finale of “Total Bellas,” Nikki and her fiancé had a gender reveal party after learning that they were having a baby boy. They announced at a Mexican themed party where Nikki broke a blue piñata revealing blue confetti.

In a confessional, Brie happily shared that she was excited for the couple and their baby boy.

In May 2020, the Bella Twins published their memoir titled, “Incomparable.” The book chronicled their whole life experience, including their childhood, parents’ whirlwind, and past relationships.

Nikki even spoke up about her sexual assault experience when she was a teenager. She wrote, “I count myself lucky because I was unconscious for both rapes.” She continued that she might never have gotten over the trauma if she was conscious of her defilement.

A day after twin Nikki welcomed her baby boy, Brie also welcomed her second child Bryan Danielson. Brie and her husband waited for the entirety of the pregnancy to learn the sex of their baby.
