As a mother of three little boys, two of whom are infants, Ashley Graham has quite a lot on her hands parenting them, particularly breastfeeding her younger sons, whom she birthed in 2022.

Although the supermodel has since stopped breastfeeding, she dished on the challenging experience, revealing why she decided to wean the tots off at five months, alternating with formula.

Ashley Graham Stopped Breastfeeding Her Twins Because It Did Not Work

Graham never shies away from speaking the truth when it concerns her body and motherhood journey, which has been quite a feat for her. Following the birth of her twin sons, she was stressed with worries about breastfeeding them, which she recently told Chelsea Handler on "The Daily Show," revealing why she quit.

"It was overnight my whole life changed," she said when Handler noted how quickly she had her three sons. "And yes, it felt like I was just like feeding a nation."

The host then pointed out that Graham has always used her social media to normalize breastfeeding for a lot of people who are not comfortable with it. The social media icon wanted every woman to be well informed about that, including the body changes — stretch marks and saggy skin — that come with pregnancy.

Addressing the discussion about "this whole thing" with people telling mothers how to feed their babies, Graham revealed that with her first child, she chose only to breastfeed him when he was still an infant.

However, she could not do the same for her twins as it did not work and took a lot of effort. Changing tactics, she looked for the best formula for the boys, which she ultimately found in Bobbie. In her words: "So I stopped breastfeeding when they were five months, and I gave them the best formula that I could find in America, Bobbie."

The formula works perfectly as her "little guys" are "strong and happy," which made her maintain that people should stop telling others how to feed their kids. Elaborating on her pregnancy and postpartum journey, she also showed parts of her hair that fell out but were growing back.

The media personality explained why such things happened to many pregnant women by saying that when a woman is pregnant, her body gets filled with nutrition, and the baby sucks it out of her. However, after delivery, the woman becomes "fully depleted of everything," leading to several outcomes, including falling hair.

Graham is currently combo-feeding babies with breastmilk and formula on a billboard, thanks to her work with Bobbie as a founding member of the Bobbie MotherBoard. Last September, she spoke with PEOPLE about the partnership while touching on how tiring her breastfeeding journey was with her twins before she introduced formula to them.

"I thought that I would easily be able to breastfeed without having to think twice about it," she shared. "I knew that there was going to be a little bit of actual juggling that would have to be implemented."

She was advised before then that if she did not breastfeed her boys simultaneously, she would never have any time for herself.  And that was precisely what happened, making the mother-of-three figure out how to do both at the same time.

She eventually found a way with combo feeding — formula and breastfeeding — which lifted the stress off her shoulders, relaxing her enough to feed the twins easily.

The TV presenter Proudly Owns Her 'Baby Weight' Months After Childbirth

Several months after welcoming her twins, Graham sent a message of assurance to fellow mothers, telling them they were not alone in having baby weight. As The Blast reported, she filmed herself on Instagram saying, "Not sure you need to hear this right now, but I do, and if you haven't lost your baby weight and you feel like, hmm, I haven't lost my baby weight, you're not alone."

The clip showed the 35-year-old in a plain black T-shirt walking around her home, followed by an amusing selfie of her in the same tee, pouting her lips to the side and signaling the peace sign with her fingers.

She captioned the image with "And me back to mom life after being in Europe for 3 weeks of fabulousness." These came after she flaunted her post-pregnancy curves, partly nude and appreciating her body for three blessed months after birth.
