'Little People, Big World' Star Zachary Roloff Hospitalized For Emergency Surgery

Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff shared the heartbreaking news that her husband Zach Roloff had emergency surgery on his shunt.

The reality TV couple is having a few hiccups this week with Zach’s health. The mom of three took to Instagram to share with fans that Zach had been struggling for 3 days. “Not exactly how we saw our week going…,” began the solemn message.

“Zachary had emergency shunt revision this morning. It’s been a scary 72 hours but he is doing well and recovering!!” she insists alongside a few photos of Zach on the mend. “Thank you so much to everyone for the prayers that you have covered us in. We feel them!”

The message continued. “We are so incredibly blessed by our neurosurgeon team and their attentiveness to Zach’s needs! Thank you to our friends and family who have all reached out asking to help. We feel so loved and supported by you.”

As soon as Zach’s mom Amy Roloff was made aware of his condition, she showed up for her son in any way he and Tori needed. Tori shouted out her mother-in-law for being there immediately.

“Also shout out to @amyjroloff for holding down the fort and playing hide n seek for who knows how many hours,” that’s right grandma Roloff was on granny duty keeping the babies calm and confident while mom and dad waited patiently at the hospital.

“I’m here praying that Zach’s recovery is quick and easy and that this will be our answered prayers to relieving his migraines!” she shared with her followers. Tori also took the moment to hype up her brave husband.

Tori stayed confident that Zach would be up and ready to go soon. “You’re a freaking bad ass, Zach. You just had brain surgery… and handled it like a rockstar. I’m so proud of you,” wrote the proud wife before signing off and back to attending to her husband.

The reveal of the emergency surgery had some of Tori’s almost 2 million followers sending praises and well wishes to the distressed couple. “Thinking of you guys today!!!” wrote one concerned follower.

Similar messages came pouring in. “Prayers for your family today! Hope everything goes well.” Former 19 Kids and Counting star Jinger Vuolo sent prayers and well wishes to her fellow TLC family.

The surgery was one that some of Tori and Zach’s fans also have experience with. “I’ve had 4 shunt surgeries. It’s no joke. Praying for you guys!” shared one follower.

As for mom, Amy, she made a quick IG Story to cancel any of her upcoming events so she can stick around to help Tori and Zach. She also shared a quick update about her son, insisting he is okay, she was also in good spirits so, that was a good sign.

She shared with followers that she is currently busy “rising to the occasion” to help Tori and her son.
