Raquel Leviss Claims Katie Maloney Played A Part In Shutting Down Her Fling With Tom Schwartz

Raquel Leviss thinks Katie Maloney is to blame for her fling with Tom Schwartz ending. The Bravo star said in a new interview that Schwartz was the one who chose not to pursue a romantic relationship with her and suggested that his ex played a huge part.

Leviss said that she was okay with simply being friends and that she had no concerns with Schwartz deciding not to pursue a relationship with her. In an earlier interview, Schwartz said that while he is open to dating after his previous romantic experience, he has no plans to get married.

Speaking with Page Six at the premiere party of "Vanderpump Rules" Season 10, Leviss opened up about her fling with co-star Schwartz.

She told the publication that Maloney, Schwartz's ex-wife, had a hand in ending their budding romance.

"We are really good friends. We hang out, and he's a great guy," Leviss said, explaining the current status quo of his relationship with Schwartz., "As far as a romantic thing, it was more his decision to not pursue that. I think Katie had a big reason as to why."

However, she did say that she had no issues with Schwartz's choosing not to pursue a thing with her, adding that she was okay with just being friends.

She added, "But I respect his decision, and I gained a really good friendship out of it."

During the interview, Leviss also shared that she has no regrets about kissing Schwartz while filming the reality series.

At the time when the kiss happened, Schwartz was knee-deep in working on his separation from Maloney.

The duo was first linked in September 2010, dated for a few years, and tied the knot twice, once in August 2016 and again in July 2019 in Las Vegas. Maloney then filed for divorce in March 2022

Although Schwartz and Maloney were no longer together when he made out with Leviss, his romantic connection appeared to have rubbed his ex the wrong way, as it was claimed that she was "very annoyed" that he had a fling with someone in their circle of friends. To show her resentment towards Leviss, Maloney called her co-star a "fan girl" in the comment section of an Instagram post.

However, the drama between the duo has not made Schwartz have second thoughts about sharing a passionate kiss with Leviss, but he admitted that the romantic fling came at the wrong time.

"It was only a kiss. I don't regret it," he said in an interview, per Page Six. "Now, if we want to get into some of the intricacies, maybe the timing was a little disrespectful."

Doubling down on his remark, Schwartz opened up that it deeply impacted Maloney and, by extension, Leviss' ex James Kennedy.

"In the moment, I was so caught up in my own little world," he added. "Something was in the air. … I regretted it in the sense that it hurt some people that I care a lot about, like maybe James and Katie — not so much James, but Katie."

For fans who expect Schwartz to tie the knot later in the future, the reality star shut down their hopes during his recent appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," per Page Six.

"I think I'm out of the game forever. I don't think I'll ever get married again," Schwartz said on the show when questioned during an "Agree or Disagree" game about whether Maloney would remarry before him.

He said he was open to dating again, even going as far as to mention he was interested in Bravo star Taylor Ann Green. However, he does not see himself as being the right person.

He added. "I like Taylor a lot. Like every time I see her, my face lights up. But yeah, I think I think I'm kind of undateable, Andy. I'm not being self-deprecating."
