Jay-Z is speaking up for his wife!

The legendary rapper expressed his thoughts ahead of the just concluded Grammy Awards and its treatment of Beyoncé as she has proven time and time again that she is a force to be reckoned with in the music world. With multiple award wins and record-breaking achievements, he is speaking out and calling for a change in how they approach the recognition of artists like her.

Jay-Z Says The Grammys Tend To 'Miss The Moment' In Giving Awards

The singer's fans, popularly known as Beyhive, believed that her new album should have won "Album of the Year" at the 65th Grammy Awards, and it seems like her husband felt the same way.

On Sunday night, it was a shock to all when Harry Styles's "Harry's House" took home the award despite being nominated amongst top contenders like "Un Verano Sin Ti" by Bad Bunny, "Voyage" by ABBA, "Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe)" by Mary J. Blige, and "30" by Adele.

Regardless, the show delivered a historic night for the power couple, as the actress became the record holder for the most Grammy wins, with 32 trophies. 

In an interview with Tidal done before the ceremony, the 53-year-old spoke about the "Drunk In Love" singer's previous albums, "Beyoncé" 2013 and "Lemonade" 2016 which sustained losses in the same category and why he believed the new work released deserved the win this year. 

When asked why he was unsatisfied even after tying with his wife for most nominations of all time with 88, he recalled when he famously boycotted the event twice. He then said:

"The truth is, we grew up wanting to be on the Grammys, and it was our goal. We just want them to get it right. That's what we want."

The father-of-three admitted that it is all subjective because it is music but feels like it has to be at least close enough to be considered valid. The "American Gangster" also mentioned that, "We grew up watching Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. Stevie Wonder won three out of four years in a row. Come on, man. They got that shit right. … It was no politics," adding, "That's what we want. Just get it right because we love it so much." He then addressed the 41-year-old's loss, saying:

"Oh, I felt like they missed the moment. Even with Bey, I felt like they missed the moment. Not just LEMONADE; [also] when Beck won over her [for Album of the Year at the 2015 show]. I was like, Oh, y'all missed it."

The 53-year-old explained why he felt she deserved to win the award this year, saying, "Look what it's done to the culture. Look how the energy of the world moved." The "Watch The Throne" rapper added, "They play her whole album in the club. I don't know if I've ever seen that. The whole entire joint — like, everything?!"

"Every remix is amazing. Everyone's inspired. It has inspired the world. Every remix is better than the other one," he continued. The record producer noted that it was so good it got people creating, adding, "When it just inspires creativity, that's an album. That has to be Album of the Year. It has to be."

Known for thrilling the audience with her stage performances, everyone was excited when the star announced that she should be on tour in 2023. The Blast reported that the tour is set to start in the UK and had its first presale for tickets.

Her fans, however, had varying reactions to the prices they saw on the site; some were downright hilarious. This person pointed out they were sure most would rather pay to see her than settle debts, stating, "D*mn, them Beyonce tickets start at $600 God speed to those who ain't paying a couple of they bills and rent lmao ?."

Another did not like that the songwriter made it too expensive for regulars, "Beyoncé don't make tickets prices for us common folk ?." A third fan shared a clip of the mother-of-three saying, "It was all worth it," as she apologized for crying about the event behind her which she described as the most important day of her life. 

The poster wrote a quote above it, "Me after I sold my house, cat, dog, car, clothes, and soul to see Beyoncé at her renaissance tour. #Beyonce #RENAISSANCEWorldTour."
