'RHOP' Star Candiace Dillard Sparks Quitting Rumors With Cryptic Post

Is Candiace Dillard Bassett leaving "Real Housewives of Potomac" too? Just hours after her co-star Monique Samuels delivered the devastating blow that she would not be returning for season six, the "I See You" singer sparked quitting rumors of her own. Taking to her social media, the 34-year-old former Miss United States dropped a cryptic post that left fans with a lot of questions about her Bravo future.
Candiace Bassett famously joined "RHOP" in 2018 and viewers watched her friendship with Monique Samuels disintegrate over the years until the final blow when they got into a physical altercation last season.
Following their explosive fight, Candiace Bassett took legal action filing assault charges against Monique. Samuels followed and filed a counterclaim. In December 2019, the Montgomery County's State's Attorney's Office dropped the charges against both women. "RHOP" fans immediately divided their alliance with many questioning if Bravo would bring back either star.
Monique Samuels made the first move, announcing her departure from the show on Monday claiming she was walking away for the sake of her family. The news came just one day after part three of the show's season five reuion aired and now, fans are worried Candiace Dillard is done with "RHOP" as well.
Taking to her Instagram on Monday, December 28, the former pageant queen posted a shot of herself in a dazzling purple dress with a caption that made eyebrows raise. "That's a wrap! The library is closed, honey... until further notice," she wrote. While some followers suggested she's simply kissing the drama from season five goodbye, others questioned if this was a bye for good.
"You quit too?" one follower asked. "Does this mean we won't see her anymore on Housewives? I hope so," added another person.
"Sounds like both Monique and Candiace are out," shared a third. "Waaaait. You better not be leaving RHOP!" posted a Team Candiace member. Others took to her cryptic post leaving doubt that she's walking away from "RHOP" due to the money rolling in. "She needs that check. She isn't leaving," one person wrote.
Hours after sparking quitting speculation, Candiace Dillard returned to Instagram to drop several smiling shots with her mother, Dorothy. While she didn't address the rumors, Candiace beamed proving her longtime up and down relationship with her mama is stronger than ever.
