Cori Broadus Has THIS Body Positivity Message For Her Fans!

Cori Broadus is all about body positivity!

Being the daughter of legendary rapper Snoop Dogg has some benefits and disadvantages, sometimes including being the object of people's interest. As someone who has faced body shaming and criticism, she wants to use her platform to spread love and acceptance towards all body types.

The singer took to her Instagram page to share a message of body positivity for her fans while looking sexy doing it. She showed off her voluptuous body in a sheer light brown halter neck jumpsuit as she leaned over on a white marble sink.

She placed her chin on her palm and swept her long braid to the side. Broadus sported colorful eye makeup and a simple glossy lip while showing off her beautiful engagement ring and hand tattoo.

The next slide showed her hands on the wall as she turned sideways to look sultrily at the camera. The sheerness of the outfit made it obvious that she had nothing underneath except a thong. 

Placing her leg on the sink, she stood upright in the last picture and used her hands to cover her bosom and stomach. In her caption, she wrote, "Sexiness is an attitude, not a body type," before tagging all the people involved in the mini shoot, "Shot by: @wayneduece ? Makeup by: @makeupbymartie ?Hair by: @teasedbytasia ?."

Her mother started strongly complimenting her daughter in the comment section by writing, "Say It Again Baby Girl ???? Beautiful Black Girl ??." Another user agreed with her statement, noting:

"This!!!! This is the post right here. It's not about being skinny. It's about loving this skin you are in. Keep glowing and flaunting them curves." 

A follower excitedly stated, "????ty say it loud for the people in the back sexiness come in all shapes sizes and colors ???❤️❤️❤️?," while this fan gushed, "Yessss!!!! Show them how a REAL baddie do it ??????." A fifth wrote, "You are absolutely Beautiful ?????❤️❤️❤️." 

In an interview with Essence, Broadus discussed the hurtful comments she has received on social media over her appearance and how the trolls have even gone as far as to criticize her relationship with her fiance, Wayne Duece. She explained her reason behind responding to such comments saying:

"I thought it was necessary to respond because, for one, I'm a cancer, and I wear my feelings on my sleeves, so whenever I feel like something should be said, I get it out." 

She disclosed that being bullied because of her weight started when she was little and has affected her since then, especially regarding her self-confidence. The 23-year-old noted that although she loves going full glam, she preferred to be as genuine and relatable as possible by choosing not to post herself with a full face of makeup all the time, adding, "I feel like that's very unrealistic, and that's not my personality."

She also advised young people not to listen to the haters because they would always have something to say and encouraged women to love themselves regardless of their appearance or age because there is no such thing as a perfect body.  

From getting diagnosed with lupus at a young age to weight gain from steroids and countless hospital visits, the singer has been through so much in such a short time. The Blast noted her recent update about another visit to the hospital that ended up getting rescheduled. 

She shared a picture on her Instagram story that showed her watching cartoons on the television as she wrote to her followers, "I get a kidney biopsy today. I'm so scared ??? last time I got one, I was like 7/8." 

In a black-and-white snap, the entrepreneur and her beau wore nose masks while she leaned her head tiredly on his shoulders as they waited together. In a third story update, she lay wearing a hospital gown and a head covering on a bed, throwing up a peace sign. 

The "Trouble" voice actress then updated fans with news that she could not get the biopsy done because her blood pressure and heart rate were too high for the doctors to do the procedure comfortably. This meant that it had to be rescheduled, and she had to see a cardiologist to get cleared.
