Miranda Lambert Breaks Silence On Flaunting Husband's Abs On Social Media

Although Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, have been married for nearly half a decade, Lambert never tires of flaunting her man's chiseled physique whenever possible.

She brazenly did so while marking their fourth wedding anniversary, causing fans to have a field day. However, she is now opening up about it, implying that there is a reason behind her show-off.

While gracing the red carpet of Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala, sponsored by Grey Goose on the eve of Saturday, February 4, Lambert dished on why she is okay with sharing shirtless pictures of her spouse.

She told PEOPLE about their "bad" social media habits of not posting regularly, admitting that they are trying to get better at it. However, while they try to perfect the craft, Lambert is all about flaunting her partner's hot body because, "If you look like that, you got to share your gift." 

The country music star further gave relationship advice on how she kept things harmonious with McLoughlin, stressing the significance of "communication." She shared, "I think it's communication. There's a romance about just being open and talking through things. It provides intimacy, so it's important to me."

It is widely known that Lambert and McLoughlin, who got hitched in January 2019, kept their relationship private for some time before revealing it to fans on Valentine's Day in the same year.

The 39-year-old explained to the magazine at the time that considering the publicity of her first marriage to fellow musician Blake Shelton which ultimately led to a highly publicized divorce, she realized her relationship was not for "everybody else."

So, with her second husband, she decided to keep things private for as long as possible to avoid repeating history.

Fans would recall that back in January, the "Kerosene" vocalist celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary with McLoughlin using a series of steamy pictures, which The Blast reported. In the post's caption, she announced the milestone, calling the former NYPD officer "my main squeeze" and adding, "Happy anniversary, babe! You are the best."

Lambert did not hesitate to alert her fans to the last two pictures among the four slides, showing swoon-worthy views of a shirtless McLoughlin rocking perfectly defined abs. In addition to such glorious displays, fans got to see him embracing his proud wife from behind. She was casually dressed in a white long-sleeved cotton shirt, a black bra top beneath, and pink shorts. 

On the other hand, the music icon's husband opted for only khaki pants but wore a vest in the first two images. They were photographed on a balcony in all the slides with palm trees in the background. Tons of admirers could not help but rave about the 31-year-old's muscled physique but still wished the married duo the best. 

One fan exclaimed, "I love that you show off his muscles! Gotta be proud of a good man and show him off." McLoughlin also marked the special occasion with an Instagram carousel featuring four pictures like his wife's: two showed the lovebirds together, while Lambert was captured in the other two. 

"4 years down and a lifetime to go," he declared in the caption. "Happy anniversary, @mirandalambert."   

In no time, fans filled the comments section with compliments and prayers, including one who showered God's blessings on their marriage after pointing out how genuinely delighted Lambert looked in all the snaps.

Lambert is undoubtedly a woman utterly in love years after tying the knot with the man of her dreams. This was evident when she honored him on his 31st birthday.  

According to The Blast, she blessed fans with attention-grabbing photos of the ex-cop, beginning with a snap of him with no shirt, posing by a trailer house door. Other slides in the collection displayed the celebrant hanging out with dogs, camping outdoors, and preparing mouth-watering ribs.

In the ninth slide, Lambert showed off her man, looking exquisite in a black suit, while concluding the photo dump with a view of him in their kitchen, announcing what he was making. Taking to the caption, the Grammy nominee wished her soulmate a happy birthday while describing him as "the man with the biggest heart and biggest smile."

She then showered him with praises for being a lover of varieties of things, including her, leading her to conclude with, "I love you so much! #31."
