Lil Baby Decides To Take Social Media Hiatus After Being Bothered By Critics

Lil Baby has been winning big in 2020 as he's regarded as the most popular rapper out, especially after having a No. 1 album with "My Turn" in February. Lately though, he's been involved in drama on social media as he's accused of cheating on his girlfriend/baby mama, Jayda Cheaves. Earlier this month, adult film star, Ms. London, claimed that thousands were spent on her for sex. Then, adult film star, Teanna Trump claimed last week she had sex with Baby.

Now, these issues appear to be the final straw for Baby on social media as he took to Twitter to announce that he will be taking a break. He wished everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and he was done.

"The internet go for anything. Shìt really sad! #thatsnotme. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year...I'm out."

Following Baby's tweets, he then decided to deactivate his Instagram account. Many assume that this will likely stand until after the new year.

Many on social media believe that the back and forth with Cheaves and Trump did it for Baby in his upcoming social media break. Cheaves bashed Trump for being an adult film star and Trump mentioned how Baby "loves her mouth." The crazines started after Cheaves posted a photo of herself on Twitter with the caption "Send me a nude...ME." Then, Trump replied "And that's why you got cheated on." Cheaves then said “But you suck dick for a living."

Aside from the drama that Baby is dealing with in his love life, his music career is booming. He received big news again in late November as he found out that he is nominated for two awards at the GRAMMYs which are next month in Los Angeles. The Quality Control Music artist is in the Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance categories. This is for his "The Bigger Picture" single from the summer. This record addressed the social climate in America regarding injustices such as racism and police brutality.

Last week, Baby made a very nice gesture and that was throwing a birthday party in Atlanta for the late George Floyd's daughter, Gianna. She turned seven as the Atlanta native paid for everything at the venue. It was two stories high as there were stations for Gianna to get her hair done with her friends as well as manicures and pedicures. Nationwide protests began in late May after George died after Minneapolis PD Officer, Derek Chauvin, had his knee on his neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds.
