Tayshia Adams & Zac Clark Talk Future Life Plans Post-'Bachelorette'

With Tuesday night's finale of "The Bachelorette" wrapped and done, the question on everybody's mind is what's next for Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark?

Luckily, the pair are very open to discussing what the future holds for them after a surprise engagement during the pivotal final episode of the hit reality series. 

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the loved-up couple talked everything from relationship details, the potential for kids, and their overall happiness in general in relation to finally coming together as fiancées. 

"I'm the happiest I've been, and I feel like our relationship is just so different than anything that I've experienced, and I thought I'd be blessed to have," Adams explained to publication correspondent Lauren Zima during their Wednesday chat over video call. "So, I'm doing well. I'm living my best life."

Clark, feeling the same way, shared the sentiment, "I echo everything she said," he continued, "I'm excited."

Once Adams was sure that Clark was the right one, they were able to get to work building a robust relationship, something they're both quick to admit definitely hasn't been "easy breezy" all the time.

"I mean, it hasn't been like, easy breezy the whole time. Just like any normal relationship, we've had to learn how to communicate with each other, navigate when someone's feeling that high of happiness, and someone's not there, and they're having a bad day at work, something like that," Adams candidly broke down for Zima about what her prior statement regarding relationship difficulties meant. 

"It's just -- you have to learn how to be with each other every single day."

I feel like even watching the show back, it could get difficult at times for myself, it could get difficult for him, and we've had to navigate all those situations as they come," Adams furthered her argument by saying, adding ,however, that, "it's been really fun. Would you say that?"

Clark agreed, referencing the current pandemic, "Yeah. I mean, it's not natural, and I think a large part of the world is experiencing it with COVID. All these relationships are being forced back into the home, and couples are kind of staring at each other like, 'OK, what do we do now?'"

Despite some growing pains, Adams and Clark are clear in their intentions that they are "just going to live our happy, engaged life."

On the potential for kids, Clark is seemingly all for the idea of fathering children with Adams, "I think it's one of those cases where internally, I knew that I wanted to be a father, I knew that I wanted to have kids, I saw love growing up around me with all my best friends," he addressed, while mentioning the hesitancies he faced prior to meeting Adams, "but there's a little bit of fear in saying that out loud because I'm 36 years old and I don't have those things yet, so... having the time to reflect on that and then meeting Tayshia, it put things in perspective for me."
