Ne-Yo & Crystal Renay Single After Speedy Divorce

Ne-Yo and his estranged ex-wife Crystal Renay are free to date other people after taking five short months to finalize their million-dollar divorce.

The singer is losing a lot in this divorce, maybe not a lot to him but when you’re paying your ex-wife $1.6 million to go away, we’d say, that’s a lot. The “Miss Independent” singer also has to pay $20,000 for Crystal’s moving expenses because the house she is in, isn’t the one she is staying in.

In fact, it looks like Crystal will be moving to one of the four homes that the couple previously owned together in Atlanta, Georgia. This is good because they share three children together and it wouldn’t be a good look for him not to provide a home for the kiddos even if it means putting her up for some time.

Crystal, who once put the father of her kids on blast on social media for cheating on her will also receive $150,000 from Ne-Yo to buy a new car because he was certainly not going to let her drive away with that 2022 Bentley Bentayga.

The 36-year-old single mom will also get $12,000 a month in child support for their two sons and daughter. He will also pay for any and all school fees and they will have joint custody of their children together.

As for Crystal’s takeaway, she will get $5,000 a month in alimony for the next three years, the marriage has been struggling for a while and the final straw was in August of 2022 when Crystal blasted her now ex-husband online.

The mom of three took to social media to accuse the singer of cheating on her. “To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane,” she wrote heartbreakingly.

“The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t.” She also revealed that her husband was expecting a child that was not coming from her and described the woman as his “paramour”.

Unfortunately, Crystal and Ne-Yo’s relationship has been toxic from the jump. They got married in 2016 and by 2018, they were divorced. But they decided to try and make it work again for one reason or another so in the Spring of 2022, they tied the knot, again.

But by August of that year, she revealed the baby thing and here we are today, Ne-Yo forking over cash and Crystal going ‘bout her business. All that matters, in this case, is the couple’s three kids, Shaffer Jr., 6, Roman, 4, and Isabella, 1.

Ne-Yo’s other children from a previous relationship are Madilyn, 12, and Mason, 11, with Monyetta Shaw who has recently been a “friend” on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. As for that alleged newborn love child, there hasn’t been any conversation around that child, allegedly the mother of that child’s name is Sade.
