Lil Baby Reportedly Made $19 Million From 'My Turn' Album In 2020

Lil Babyis a fan favorite in hip-hip and one of the genre's best, especially this year. The Quality Control Music rapper really started to gain momentum in kicking off the year when his "Sum 2 Prove" single was released in January.
Then, his sophomore album, "My Turn," was released in February and became his first ever No. 1 album. Other hit records were "Emotionally Scarred," "Woah," and "Heatin Up" feat. Gunna. "We Paid" feat. 42 Dugg also took off when it appeared on the deluxe edition in May.
Baby Made $19 Million From 'My Turn' After Dominant Year
According to a report by HitsDailyDouble, My Turn also brought in huge numbers in revenue for Baby. He is No. 1 in the list of albums with the most funds earned in 2020 with $19 million.
The other spots go to Taylor Swift's "Folklore" at No. 2 with $16.3 million, Pop Smoke's posthumous debut studio album, "Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon" at No. 3 with $15.8 million, Juice WRLD's posthumous "Legends Never Die" album and The Weeknd's "After Hours."
Baby Is Already Preparing For Next Album
Lil Baby has been very consistent with music releases as he is already aiming to complete his third studio album. He recently took to Twitter to say that he is in "album mode" and isn't doing any more collaborations for now in order to get this project done.
Baby also put out his new "On Me" and "Errbody" singles the day after his birthday earlier this month. Both records have since received positive reviews as the anticipation is on for his forthcoming album.

Baby Is Nominated For Two GRAMMY's Next Month
My Turn's momentum continues to grow as Baby also received some very good news at the end of November as well. This is that his "The Bigger Picture" single is nominated for two Grammy awards next month.
The categories that it has been placed in are Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. This record was released in June which addressed the social climate in America in the midst of the nationwide protests which supported George Floyd after he was murdered by Minneapolis PD.
Baby Also Won Apple Music's Artist Of The Year Award
Baby is ending the year on a very great note as he was also recently named the Apple Music Awards' Artist Of The Year. His performance for the awards show will take place on December 17 at 5pm PT.
Baby will be performing records such as "Humble," "Get Money," "Solid," and other hits of his. Another rapper that gave Baby a run for his money was Megan Thee Stallion, who had a No. 2 album this year and was part of two No.1 singles.
