Megan Thee Stallion has had another huge year for herself as she definitely outdid her breakout 2019. She received her first No. 1 single in April as it was for her “Savage” remix feat. fellow Houston superstar, Beyoncè.
This has gone platinum and is up for three Grammy Awards next month in Los Angeles. The categories are Best Song, Best Record, and Best Rap Performance. Now, fans of these two icons have some great news coming their way regarding a possible performance of Savage then.
Megan Is Reportedly ‘In Talks’ Of ‘Savage’ Performance With Beyoncè At GRAMMYs
Megan recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times and revealed that she is “in talks” about performing the Savage remix with Beyoncè at these GRAMMYs. This is viewed as a move that may be one of the top performances of the night as both artists are some of the best talents in the music industry today.
Megan and Bey’s relationship has been strong for a while now. They also went viral on New Year’s Eve when they took a photo booth flick together as Bey’s daughter, Blue Ivy, was also included.

Megan Says Beyoncè Is The ‘Standard’
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last month, Megan had even more praise for Beyoncè. She went as far as labeling Bey as the “standard” and someone who people should want to be.
“Beyoncé’s the OG. Like, she is the standard. You want to be like Beyoncé. You want to grow up and be like Beyoncé. You watch Beyoncé from when you were a kid to this point in life. Beyoncé is somebody that is so top tier, you just feel so great to know that you even made it that you can even be in the room with Beyoncé. I felt like, girl, I was breathing Beyoncé’s air. That is a flex.”
Megan Is Also Nominated For ‘Best New Artist’ At GRAMMYs
In addition to the three nominations for Savage remix, Megan is also nominated for ‘Best New Artist.’ The others included in this category are Phoebe Bridgers, Ingrid Andress, Chika, Noah Cyrus, D Smoke, Doja Cat, and Kaytranada.
Many love Megan’s chances here due to the massive amount of success she’s experienced in 2020. She also scored another No. 1 single in August as she was featured on Cardi B’s “WAP” single. This was not submitted for Grammy consideration though, as Cardi wants to release her next album first.
Megan Also Has Momentum Going From ‘Good News’ Album
On November 13, Megan also released her highly anticipated debut studio album, “Good News.” This project was led by hit singles such as “Girls In The Hood,” “Don’t Stop” feat. Young Thug, and the Savage remix. She also made headlines for her Tory Lanez and Kelsey Nicole diss on “Shots Fired.”
This also sampled The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who Shot Ya?” The latest huge record from this album has since been “Body.” This has gone viral all over social media and has sparked a dance for it as well.
