Lil Baby Gives George Floyd's Daughter Birthday Party

Lil Baby is arguably the hottest rapper of 2020 as he's received plenty of platinum plaques along with a No. 1 album in "My Turn." The Atlanta native also does a great job of helping out in communities and that was evident on Wednesday night in his hometown.  

He took to his Instagram stories to show that he is throwing a birthday party for the late George Floyd's daughter, Gianna. According to TMZ, Baby also covered all the expenses for the evening.

Baby definitely did a great job of pulling this event off as it was filled with pink decorations, balloons, as well as a playroom. There were also stations where Gianna and her friends can get their hair done, manicures, as well as their feet. 

Stephen Jackson, former NBA star, also made an appearance at this party. Jackson was very close with George before he was killed by Minneapolis PD in May. He also plays a huge role in Gianna's life as a family member. 

Following George Floyd's death, Gianna received so much support on social media. It even reached Barbara Streisand, who was generous enough to buy Gianna stocks in Disney. Gianna posted a letter she received from Streisand as well as the certification in the stocks. 

"Thank You @barbrastreisand for my package, I am now a Disney Stockholder thanks to you," said Gianna on her Instagram feed in June.

Streisand also gave Gianna two of her albums, which were "My Name Is Barbara" and "Color Me Barbara."

Back on December 3, Baby turned 26 and had a private birthday party in Atlanta as well. Various celebrities were in the building such as Houston Rockets star James Harden, Quality Control Music CEO Pierre "Pee" Thomas, and his girlfriend, Jayda Cheaves. 

He received a Bentley from Thomas, a Richard Mille watch from Cheaves,  and a $300,000 Prada bag from Harden which contained a $200,000 Richard Mille watch, and to Baby's surprise, a myriad of bags of honey bun deserts.

When midnight struck while baby was celebrating his birthday, he ended up releasing two new singles in "On Me" and "Errbody." These are expected to appear on his third studio album. 

A release date has not officially been set but he recently revealed on social media that he is in "album mode" and isn't doing any more collaborations so he can finish up this project. My Turn has since been certified 2x platinum by the RIAA in the US and is regarded by many fans as the album of 2020 for hip-hop.
