Olivia Wilde & Jason Sudeikis Alleged To Still Be In Dogfight Over Child Custody

Despite recent pictures of exes Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis hugging each other, all may not be hunky dory between the two given that recent media reports suggest they are involved in an ugly dogfight over the custody of their kids, Otis, 81/2, and Daisy, 6.

The fight is not so much about the custody arrangement itself but as real estate says, it's all about "location, location, location!" Here's the down-low...

Most media reports suggest that while Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis may not see eye to eye on everything, they are acing the co-parenting game. For both the actors, their kids come first, and it's six-year-old Daisy Josephine and eight-and-a-half-year-old Otis Alexander who are the top priority for both.

They have even presented a united front over allegations that Wilde cheated on Sudeikis with Harry Styles. A former nanny made these outrageous claims which the former couple called "false and scurrilous" in a joint statement.

The statement also read: "Her [the nanny's] now 18-month-long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends, and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children, with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone."

Meanwhile, Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles have blown over too, with him focusing on his touring and both deciding to take a break as of November 2022.

Wilde and Sudeikis ended their seven-year engagement in early 2020, and it was in 2021 that she was romantically linked with Harry Styles. Just recently, Wilde and Sudeikis were spotted giving each other a brief hug, sparking all sorts of rumors.

Despite the hug, it seems the custody battle has only amplified, as per TMZ. While sources allege that Jason Sudeikis is not looking for any child support from Olvie and is, in fact, willing to pay her a "reasonable amount", he wants the amount to be decided between the two of them, or by a New York judge.

Apparently, Sudeikis' New York lawyer, Bill Beslow filed an appeal with a New York judge to resolve all child support issues on January 4. The judge has allegedly set a hearing date for February 15.

The issue is that in July 2022, both a New York judge and a California judge ruled that all Custody issues would be handled in L.A., which Wilde wanted. Sudeikis' move has left Wilde baffled because the judges have already ruled it to be an LA case, and not a New York one, but Beslow has re-appealed the same.

Wilde's lawyer, Laura Wasser has already filed a motion with the New York judge to dismiss the claims, so that an L.A. judge can go ahead and decide the same as per the former rulings.

Fans don't seem happy with Sudeikis' move as one wrote on his Instagram, "You lost custody, get over it. Mean-spirited human. Shame on you."

This is not the first time Jason Sudeikis has served Olivia Wilde with a whammy, considering she was very publically served with custody papers onstage at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last April. Later, Wilde denounced the move, saying Sudeikis "chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible" and said that the move was "intended to threaten me and catch me off guard."

In his court filing, Sudeikis responded with an apology, stating, "I understand that the process server had only done her job; however, I deeply regret what happened. Olivia's talk was an important event for Olivia, both professionally and personally, and I am very, very sorry that the incident marred her special moment."

For now, Wilde is also dealing with the personal fallout of her breakup with Styles. While the media reports the split to be amicable, sources say that Wilde was left disappointed because they could not work out their issues. That said, with her directorial venture "Don't Worry Darling" receiving decent reviews, at least Wilde is on a professional high and ended the year on a Disney high with her kids!
