"If you want a quick tip that has helped me: for those of you who feel overwhelmed or anxious I recommend trying to put your hand or hands over your heart space & you can also put one hand over your stomach," Raisman explained to fans in a photo that showed the star acting out the instructions.

The 26-year-old star continued, "Pay attention to the warmth your hand may bring & how it feels on your body. If it feels right to you, you can also bring a light smile across your face. I encourage you to pay attention to the sensations you feel in your chest, stomach, mouth & body."

Aly Raisman explained how she can feel her own smile radiating throughout her body, and pointed out that returning to the peaceful emotional state doesn't have to be a one-time thing:

"If this helped remember you can access this feeling again/whenever you need it," she said.

Raisman gained high praise from fans for the advice she gave, including one who thought the star has a future as a motivational coach.

"You're so sweet to give us tips like that. I'll screenshot your advice and print it out when I get home. Thank you. I usually drink some chamomile tea and listen to some instrumental music. You'd be a great motivational coach," the fan wrote.
