Chanen And Juwan Johnson Share Their Gender Reveal With An Exclusive Video!

After sharing teasers of their gender reveal on social media, NFL player Juwan Johnson and wife Chanen have shared with the world that they are expecting a baby girl! In addition to sharing the news on their YouTube channel, TikTok and Instagram pages, they also shared an exclusive video for readers of The Blast.

When Chanen spoke exclusively to The Blast, she said while she will be happy with either a girl or a boy, she would choose girl if she could. "I'm such a girly girl," she said. "Having a mini-me has always been a dream of mine." And now her dream is coming true.

They shared their exciting news in a YouTube video, as well as the gender reveal on Instagram and TikTok, as many of their followers have been anxiously waiting to find out if it's pink or blue balloons in the oversized box.

In the YouTube video, they chatted about the pregnancy from finding out they are expecting until now. "I actually found out I was pregnant in early November 2022 during football season. Juwan was at work. It was a really fun day because I was doing the test by myself," Chanen began the video. "I didn't expect to be pregnant and I was, so that was like really exciting and fun and something we were not expecting at all."

She continued to explain how last year was a tough year for them. "We got pregnant three times. Can you imagine how much that is on somebody's body?" Chanen said. "This time it worked, so that's good." She talked about how open they have been about their pregnancies and didn't want to tell people about this pregnancy too soon.

"I felt like when you go through that and you feel like you oh I don't want to tell the world again as soon as we did because you're nervous and scared and you have so many reservations and so you don't necessarily want to throw it out there because you don't know what's going to happen," Juwan said. "The unknown of all that is very scary for us."

Chanen said she feels that many people seem to think they do things for the Internet, and explained that's not it at all. "When I found out, I recorded myself because I was alone and I want Juwan to see this experience when I find out I'm pregnant," she said.

Juwan then explained how he found out he was going to be a dad. "The way that I found out was that I came home and she had a Christmas bag from Bath and Body Works. She had this bag for a week and had candles in it and was like go look in the bag," he said. "I looked in there and there's a positive pregnancy test."

The video continues with sharing more of their pregnancy journey including being sick during the first trimester, worries they are feeling, and everything in between. They also announced that they are expecting a baby girl during the video. "He's such a girl dad," Chanen said. "We really wanted a girl to start off."

The couple explained that the gender reveal party last weekend was the first time their families met all together since they got married during the pandemic. They also talked about why they didn't post the gender reveal immediately and just wanted to be present with their families to enjoy the moment.

Chanen shared their gender reveal video yesterday on social media, but in black and white so they could keep the baby's gender a secret for just a little bit longer. They are really enjoying the entire process and sharing things at their pace, which most of their followers completely understand.

The couple's social media followers couldn't contain their excitement over the big news. Many took to the comments of the gender reveal video captioned, "It's been a tough journey getting here, but we made it to you. The most precious forever memory," to leave their happy thoughts.
