January Jones picked a bikini and Frosted Flakes photo to make her point last night. The 42-year-old “Mad Men” actress fronted media outlets ahead of the weekend for trolling tabloid newspaper The National Enquirer over an apparent threat to publish a story about her being “desperate” – January had alerted her 1 million Instagram followers to the seemingly-bizarre situation by posting a letter she claimed to have received as it mentioned bikini shots of her being “desperate.” There’s been an update. Check it out below.

that The National Enquirer was “preparing to publish a story” reporting the actress as having “worried friends with her series of attention-grabbing bikini pictures and social media posts.”
“Sources claim her content smacks of a “desperate cry for attention” and note how her acting work appears to have dried up before the pandemic took hold.”
January, who captioned the post: “Sh-t. They’ve discovered my secret,” adding: “consider this my public apology to my ‘friends'”, has since been jokingly posting the sexiest snaps she can find to up the ante. A plunging bikini shot of the “X:Men” actress has already been shared, with last night bringing a multi-layered aspect.
January’s latest response now sees her posting a Betty Draper shot showing her “Mad Men” character in a yellow bikini and open shirt, plus holding a box of Frosted Flakes.
The photo, below, showing January back in the day and from a scene in “Mad Men,” then came with a swipe-right showing the blonde’s on-screen husband Jon Hamm in conversation with her. “It’s desperate” was captioned as Hamm looked unimpressed.
“Ohhhhh…now I see what happened,” January captioned the shot. And the comments section is literally dying. Cry-face emoji lead the way from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Rinna, with another fan writing: “Should’ve known that was the source…Damnit Don!”
January made headlines in June for posting a pool bikini snap and joking she was unemployed and in need of attention. The pandemic-posted image, also tying in with 2020 series “Spinning Out” being canceled after just one season – January starred on it – was one giant joke as January wrote: “Out of work actor needs attention.”
Now it looks like Jones is having the last laugh. Media outlets are mass reporting the threatening letter, with January’s followers very much on her side. Scroll for the “thirsty” bikini shot.
