Dove Cameron both lacked support and had it last night, posting a skimpily-clad video marking a major achievement. The 24-year-old actress and singer, big-time in the news right now for her new "We Belong" single and music video, took to Instagram with thanks for her 38.1 million followers – the former Disney star's new music video has surpassed 1 million views, with the song itself nearing 20 million streams. Dove, who popped up on her stories in a no-bra tank, then delivered a message. Check it out below.

Scroll for the tank action – and exactly why Dove wears them. The "Descendants" star, whose "We Belong" video is about boyfriend Thomas Doherty and sees her angelically twirling barefoot in a fairytale-like pink dress, went simple with her look as she thanked fans. Dove spoke in a plunging white vest top, also adding fun and cute fairy wing filters.
"Hey. I wanted to quickly stop by and say thank you SO much for all of your never-ending support on We Belong the record, and now We Belong the video," Cameron began.

Dove, looking flawless as ever and flashing hints of teal-blue sweatpants, added it was "mind-blowing" how many numbers are streaming. Likewise:
"How much you guys continue to love this record. So thank you so much for all of your support and I can't wait for what this new year has in store for us."
If you haven't seen the music video, it's below and brings Dove in all her ethereal beauty and with some odd moments as what looks like an avocado cake is smushed with the actress' bare hands. More after the video.

Earlier this year, Dove spoke to NY Mag as part of the magazine's series on things celebrities "can't live" without. The "Live & Maddie" alum stated:
"About a year ago, I took a picture in a white tank top with no bra on and everybody flipped out. People were like, “You have nipples?” And I was like, “Yeah, so do you?”"
"I’ve had a love for white tank tops ever since. They’re masculine yet feminine — very androgynous and sexy and ’90s," she added.

Dove, who joins ex-Disney face Bella Thorne in releasing music amid a career largely focused on acting, has been making headlines for all sorts of reasons. A Zoom quarantine interview with Byrdie earlier in the pandemic saw Dove address her lazy mornings and the "not always pretty" side to self-care, with the most recent feature coming via The Glass Magazine as Dove posed in a series of pantsuit and netted hat photos.
Dove's new single is produced by Columbia Records, a label the star signed with in 2018.
