NeNe Leakes Addresses Son Brentt Leakes Seemingly 'Coming Out' In TikTok Trend

NeNe Leakes is getting bombarded with questions about her son Brentt Leakes' latest TikTokwhere it appears he is coming out as gay!

The entrepreneur is attempting to go viral on TikTok and share some personal information about his life. He hopped on a viral challenge that had him tossing a crumpled-up paper and tossing it in a bin.

The caption on the screen reads, “If I Miss I’m Gay”. Brentt has never been one to talk about his sexuality and the entire time he was on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and other spinoffs with his mom, he only showed as much as he needed to show.

The TikTok reveal got followers chatting and of course, it was picked up by the blogs. The moment prompted mom, NeNe to say a few things on the topic.

The former reality star dropped by "The Breakfast Club" morning show and cleared up the TikTok Video. Leakes said she didn’t know Brentt did the video but said that “Brentt is not gay. He did some popular TikTok trend and everybody’s calling up,” revealed NeNe.

When pressed about him coming out, NeNe said he didn’t come out to her knowledge. “he called me up and was like mom, everybody’s asking me if I’m gay because I did this TikTok video thing.”

NeNe had the perfect response. “It’s okay, it’s fine with me,” and Brentt said, “Okay, I’m not gay, mom.” NeNe said she didn’t even know what the big deal was if he was gay and she didn’t think it was a big deal enough to ask.

NeNe said that she is only concerned about the well-being and happiness of her son. “If my son today said he was gay, I’m 100% okay with it,” she confirmed.

“What I like to say to people is your happiness is the most important thing,” NeNe said to host Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy. The moment was comical for all involved as the hosts and NeNe laughed their way through it.

On the flip side, the comment section is hosting a debate about whether or not Brentt was lying or if he just backed out at the last minute.

“The fact that he could've chosen any caption,” noted one follower. “I honestly believe it, that snap and turn didn’t look genuine in that video,” pointed out another. “People take everything, so seriously this is crazy. I could tell it was a joke.”

“He didn’t even try to get it in the basket I mean wasn’t even turned towards it or aiming for it so I conclude he wanted to share his personal life choice and that’s fine,” shared another follower. “She answered as a parent should... who cares and he knows his mom is in his corner whether it is or isn't.... ppl get too invested.”

The conversation confused some people who didn’t think it was anyone’s business to be debating and conversating about something that someone made public.
