Following the break up of their engagement, the estranged couple at the time underwent a very public battle over the primary custody of their children, Otis and Daisy.

According to Page Six, the "Ted Lasso" star filed a case against Wilde in NewYork, arguing that he wanted their children to live with him in Brooklyn instead of Los Angeles and London, which his ex-fiancee opted for at the time.

It continued, "Therefore, for the reasons stated on the record on July 15, 2022, the respondent's motion to dismiss the custody petitions filed on October 21, 2021, is granted as this court finds that New York does not have jurisdiction to hear the custody petitions as New York is not the home state of the subject children."

Wilde alleged that Sudeikis only filed the petition after she refused his request for the children to live with him in New York while he was not working.

Sudeikis retorted, "For better or worse, I am a New Yorker," adding that it was in their children's best interest to grow up in Brooklyn.

After initially going public with Styles in 2021, rumors began to circulate that the "Don't Worry Darling" producer had it all worked out and actually left her fiance at the time for the singer.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Wilde responded to the rumors and called it a "horses**t idea," explaining that it was "completely inaccurate."

"Our relationship was over long before I met Harry," Wilde said. "Like any relationship that ends, it doesn't end overnight."

She also pointed out that her relationship with Sudeikis had gone through a tough time before they finally threw in the towel "towards the beginning of the pandemic," having realized it was no longer beneficial for their children.
