Chanel West Coast is literally doing ballet in platform heels and Daisy Dukes. The 32-year-old rapper and "Ridiculousness" star, whose dancing moves tend to come as an epic twerk, today reminded her 3.5 million Instagram followers that dainty ballerina moves can totally be done in platforms. No pointe shoes might seem easy, but a chunky-heeled shoe is hardly your standard. A video from the MTV set shared with Chanel's fans was, of course, joking, but that's West Coast for you. Scroll for the video. It comes as Chanel makes "Ridiculousness" headlines overall, both for marking 500 episodes of the series and for thanking co-star Rob Dydrek for giving a "b-tch" a job.
The video, a goofy on-stage moment, showed the "No Plans" rapper flaunting her killer legs while pulling off being a ballerina in Daisy Dukes. A repost from a fan captioned: "@chanelwestcoast doing ballet," the footage showed Chanel flaying her arms around and curtsying with grace as a ballerina would after a performance.
Chanel might not have a professional ballerina portfolio, but this girl has been dropping one heck of a moves resume of late. October marked the release of Chanel's 19-track "America's Sweetheart" album, with Chanel seen energetically dancing in her bikini-clad "No Plans" video, with similar in NFL-themed "40 Yard Dash."

Chanel, who was signed to rapper Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment label in 2012, is fresh from revealing that producers have shunned her rapping abilities. Speaking on Angela Yee's "Lip Service" podcast in October, Chanel said:
"I've had a lot of resistance as a rapper," adding: "I've had a lot of producers and people tell me 'Maybe you should sing more."
"America's Sweetheart" does bring singing, with insanely gorgeous vocals on "Vinyl," but it's mostly rap from the star whose "Corona Rap" went viral this year. Swimsuit action after the video.

On the podcast, Chanel also addressed her career including both TV and music. "I think that cause I'm on these shows that are really happy, giggling and laughing a lot. Obviously, if you are hanging around Rob Dyrdek and Steelo you are going to be laughing and happy 24/7," she said, continuing:
"I think that a lot of people were confused, like, 'why is this girl a rapper', what's your struggle, where do you come from," she explained. "People don't know that I've been rapping since I was a brokea--."
