Kanye West Goes Viral With Paparazzi Rant
It seems like embattled singer, songwriter, and Kardashian-ex Kanye West might be under investigation over battery charges after he yanked a phone out of a female photographer’s hand and tossed it out on the street after she refused to stop filming him.
The video of the star first approaching paps and asking them to desist from filming him when his kids were involved has gone viral, more so because he was seen getting out of his car and stomping towards another car.
There, a woman holding a dog was reportedly filming him. “You didn’t have to run up on me like that,” he told the woman, who held her phone to his face. She denied the “running” bit, and West continued to yell at her, “If I say stop, stop with your cameras!” to which she replied that he was a celebrity, hinting that he should be used to people recording him. Incensed, West snatched her phone out of her hand and threw it on the street before driving off.
During the time of the incident, the rapper-turned-fashion designer was allegedly leaving his daughter North West’s basketball game. His “wife”, Bianca Censori was sitting in the car beside him but seemed to have kept mum about it. The confrontation seems to have gone down badly enough for the cops to be involved.
Ye Might Be Suspect In A Battery Investigation
Of course, it’s not known how long the woman was filming the 45-year-old, and what actually happened for him to get out of his car and confront her.

As per a TMZ post, West has been named a suspect in a battery investigation after deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene and given video evidence of the incident. The said woman was also photographed leaving the sheriff’s department and talking to police officers.

No further news about the investigations is out for now although fans are split about Kanye West’s behavior.
One obvious fan wrote, “I feel sad for ye. He never really wanted the cameras in his face in the first place. Kim Kardashian and family did all this to him. He was well respected until he met them Kardashians.”
But another felt, “This is why people need to stop putting celebrities on pedestals. While I believe everyone deserves their space and privacy, you are at a public game with other parents and children. The world isn’t and shouldn’t stop for Ye or any other celebrity.”

On Friday, the media turned up the heat on Kim Kardashian, when she was attending North West’s basketball game. In a video, a pap can be heard asking her, “Hey Kim, what do you think of Kanye hitting someone … [sic] the paparazzi’s phone?”
The 42-year-old was quick to shut it down, saying, “Do not talk to me about that in front of my kids,” prompting the photographer to apologize to her. While this was going on, a child can be heard shouting, “Please leave!” but it’s unclear which of her kids yelled the same.
Later, Kim bundled her kids safely into the SUV before bidding her sister Khloé Kardashian’s ex Tristan Thompson a goodbye.
