Considered one of the most beautiful women on earth, Pam Anderson took the time on a recent episode of “The Howard Stern Show” to tell all about her experiences at the Playboy Mansion and being the most sought-after Playboy Playmate ever.
Pam Anderson Tells All On Tommy Lee During Howard Stern Show
Pamela Anderson has always been open about her life and relationships, and her recent appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show was no exception. The actress and model, best known for her role on “Baywatch” and her relationship with rocker Tommy Lee, opened up about her experiences at the Playboy Mansion, her tumultuous relationship with Lee, and the infamous sex tape that was leaked in the 1990s.
When it comes to her relationship with Lee, Anderson was candid. “I had two beautiful boys with him … and it was really a heightened kind of romantic beginning and that’s every girl’s fantasy — to be worshipped like that,” she said. “I always felt like romantic love might not be sustainable, so if you want to have that kind of love affair, it’s just going to have a season, you know, it’s not going to last forever.”
Anderson also admitted that she didn’t give herself a chance to have another healthy relationship after Lee. “I don’t think I ever gave myself a chance to have another relationship after that was of any value, you know, it was more like trying to put a family unit back together, but I wasn’t really in love,” she said. “I just was going through the motions and then realizing … there’s just nothing like I had with Tommy.”
The actress also discussed the infamous sex tape that was leaked in the 1990s, calling it “not a positive thing.” “It definitely took its toll on the relationship, it took its toll on my career, and people are still capitalizing off that,” she said.
When asked about the recent “Pam & Tommy” miniseries produced by Seth Rogen, Anderson was less than pleased. “I felt kind of run over with that one,” she said. “I don’t think they really portrayed Tommy or [me] positively … I’ve only heard that it was a very shallow kind of representation of us at that time … I wish they would have called.”
Anderson’s career and life have had many wild times with not only Tommy but when she frequented the Playboy Mansion during her time as a Playboy Playmate. She was quick to spill on everything that happened during those times.
Pam Anderson Talks On Playboy Mansion & Playmate Life
Pamela Anderson, the actress, and model best known for her role as C.J. Parker on the hit TV show Baywatch and a Playboy Playmate who graced the cover of the iconic magazine a record thirteen times is releasing a new memoir, ‘Love, Pamela’, January 31st, 2023, and the book offers readers an intimate glimpse into her personal and professional life, from her early days as a young girl growing up in Canada to her rise to fame as a global sex symbol, and her ongoing work as an advocate for animal rights and other social causes. She appeared on Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, January 25th to talk about her new memoir and life in the Playboy Mansion and as a Playboy Playmate.
Anderson recalled her first visit to the Playboy Mansion, where she was offered clothes from the Mansion’s vast closet. “I thought, ‘Well, what kind of clothes would be in the Playboy Mansion closet?'” she said. The experience, she said, was like “The Twilight Zone,” with everyone looking the same and feeling like a surreal dream.
Pamela dished about the start of it all saying, “My first day at the Playboy Mansion I was in my acid wash jeans and some rock t-shirt with my sneakers on with the little balls on the socks and they were like, ‘You know, you can come to the Playboy Mansion closet and get dressed for the next time you come out,’” she recalled to Howard. “I thought, ‘Well, what kind of clothes would be in the Playboy Mansion closet?’”
“[Friend and photographer] David LaChapelle used to say going to the Playboy Mansion was like ‘The Twilight Zone,’” she explained. “Like, he thought he saw a hundred of me from the back, and then they would turn around and not be me.”
“Even when I came here, the first thing they said was, ‘Well, you’ll stay at the Playboy Mansion,’ and I said, ‘No, I’ll stay at a hotel,’” the actress remembered insisting. During her time as a Playmate, Anderson was known for her blonde hair, blue eyes, and
curvaceous figure. She appeared in several of the magazine’s photoshoots, and her images were widely circulated and popularized throughout the world. She also made appearances on the cover of the magazine several times, and her image became synonymous with Playboy in the 1990s.
She wasn’t telling all her stories from the inside walls of the Playboy Mansion but she did share some fun anecdotes on an encounter with iconic actor Jack Nicholson. She was there when he was allegedly partaking in a threesome. She recalled being three-way adjacent to Jack Nicholson saying, “Mr. Nicholson had two beautiful women with him,” Anderson claims in her upcoming memoir, “Love, Pamela,” according to an excerpt released by Variety. She continued, “They were all giggling and kissing up against the wall, sliding all over each other. I walked by to use the mirror, bending over the sink to fix my lip gloss. Trying not to look, but I couldn’t help myself and caught his eye in the reflection,” Anderson, 55, wrote. “I guess that got him to the finish line because he made a funny noise, smiled, and said, ‘Thanks, dear,” she claims.
What else she saw during her time in the Playboy Mansion must be the stuff of legend.
Pam Anderson Has No Regrets On Her Life & Career
Although Anderson has faced criticism over the years posing for Playboy magazine, she has no regrets. Actually, she credits Playboy for saving her life after enduring sexual trauma in her childhood and young adult years. “II was painfully shy as a child. As a young girl, Playboy empowered me. It really saved my life. she told Us Weekly. I felt very trapped inside and needed to free myself. It was a breakthrough for me, and there I met artists and activists and gentlemen. It has been a fun and wild life.”
Anderson’s appearances in Playboy also helped her launch a successful acting career. In 1992, she starred in her first feature film, “Raw Justice” and later went on to star in several other films, including “Barb Wire” and “Blonde and Blonder.” She also made guest appearances on several popular television shows, including “Home Improvement.”
Pamela has never forgotten the platform that is a model for Playboy gave her in launching her career. When Hugh Hefner died on September 27th, 2017 she shared her thoughts on his passing. “Everything anyone loves about me is because you understood me.” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post according to E! Online. “[You] accepted me and encouraged me to be myself. Love like no one else. Live recklessly with unfiltered abandon. You said the magazine was about a girl like me. That I embody the spirit you fantasized about. I was the one. You said.”
All her life and moments in it had her reiterate to Howard that she wouldn’t change a thing telling him, “It was more good times than bad, and I wouldn’t do it any other way,” she said. “It was just this wild, wild ride and I made it home in one piece.”
