Amber Rose Embraces Idea Of Being A Lesbian, Done With 'Gross Men'

Amber Rose seems to be done for good with straight relationships following her split from her ex-boyfriend Alexander "A.E." Edwards, with whom she shares a son, Slash.

While dishing on her past relationships in a recent interview, the 39-year-old TV personality revealed her plans to stay away from all men – yet remaining open to embracing her lesbian side. 

Rose is declaring that she wants to remain single given her not totally blissful history with male celebs, including the likes of Edwards and her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa; both were unfaithful.

She opened up to Sofia Franklyn on the "Sofia with an F podcast," where she poured out her heart about being with men whom she now regards as "gross."

"It's worse than ever," she lamented. "They're pretty disgusting out here. They're f**king gross. Like, I wanna be single for the rest of my life."

The 5 ft 9 inches model added that she does not desire to share her home or life with anyone, nor does she want anybody around her kids. Not only is she doing away with romance, but she also does not want to have a sex life as she called it "so gross." 

At the same time, she voiced her contentment with the idea of being "a lesbian" but also being by herself, with no partners. "I'm fine with being by myself too," the "How to Be a Bad B**ch" author maintained. "I'm very happy to not be in my bed with anyone."

Elaborating on her heartbreaking marital experience with her ex Wiz, she mentioned that he cheated when they were together, but she has forgiven him. The estranged couple is "the best of friends now," even though Rose cried daily for three whole years following their split and when she was dating other people. 

She believed she had found her soulmate in the "See You Again" rapper but now understands that they are "much better as co-parents and friends." In addition to being romantically linked to the fathers of her two kids, Rose was once in a relationship with Kanye West from 2008 to 2010 and with 21 Savage in 2017.

She admittedly had a great time with 21 Savage, and as for her romance with West, she noted that he was "a huge part" of her story and prominence, which people were obsessed with.  Rose highly doubts she will ever get into a relationship again, but if she does, she plans not to allow anyone to play with her life and mental health.

She further gave dating advice, saying that people should try to be friends with whoever they want to date and get to know them really well to avoid distressing experiences like hers.

The Blast previously reported that the Philadelphia-born rapper called it quits on her three-year relationship with Edwards in 2021 for allegedly cheating on her with 12 women. At the time, she slammed him on Instagram for being disloyal while claiming that she could prove her allegations with evidence of "texts and DMs."

"I'm tired of getting cheated on and being embarrassed behind the scenes," Rose ranted. "All 12 of y'all bums (The ones that I know of, there's probably more) can have him." 

She then pointed out that the women in question were aware he was in a relationship and had a child, but they went ahead without respect for her. Even so, the "Loveline" host acted maturely and chose not to spill the women's names despite the music executive returning her loyalty and transparency with the opposite.

Following Rose's upsetting separation from Edwards, she took to social media to break her silence for the first time, using a lengthy, descriptive note.

She began the candid note, writing, "When ur in love with a narcissist, ur brain tells you to run when ur heart says to stay. Unanswered questions. Gaslighting. Stonewalling. Deflecting. Projecting."

Although the media personality wished it was easy to "fix him," she knew that was not her job. She also admitted that the pain hurt her deeply, especially since their kids were involved.

Even so, she wrote that she will always love her ex a lot, and while it was a "tough choice" to end things, she had to choose herself.
