Lil Wayne celebrated Thanksgiving with his girlfriend Denise Bidot and didn't seem too concerned about a possible prison sentence.

Denise posted a series of photos from their busy holiday adventure. In the snaps, the curvy model can be seen smiling aboard a private jet with the rapper. She looked incredible while cheesing in her seat, where a weed piece can be seen in the background.

Wayne's girl captioned her post, "Thanksgiving weekend was just perfect. ? Thankful every single day??."

In another, Wayne and Denise posed in front of an oversized mirror for a couple's photo. She nuzzled her face on the rapper's shoulder while he looked directly ahead. Wayne held onto a small blunt with a coffee cup in his hand.

Lil Wayne took his girl and family on the jet to Lousiana to grab some food from Cafe Du Monde. They both looked incredibly carefree in the photographs and appear to be in love. Neither looks like they are concerned with Wayne's new felony case.

As The Blast previously reported, earlier this month, Wayne was hit with criminal charges by The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida.

Prosecutors hit Wayne with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. The charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison if convicted.

The case stemmed from a December 2019 incident where Wayne's private jet was stopped at a Miami airport. A bunch of drugs and a firearm were found on the plane.

At the time, Wayne was allowed to leave the scene and head home. It looks like upon further investigation the police found evidence to link Wayne to the gun. They have already filed suit demanding the court order Wayne turn over the gun and ammunition in his possession.

The rapper's lawyer has been vocal after his client was hit with the case. His attorney believes they will be able to have all charges dismissed and Wayne won't see a day behind bars.

Wayne's lawyer, Howard Srebnick, said, "There is no allegation that he ever fired it, brandished it, used it or threatened to use it. There is no allegation that he is a dangerous person."

He added, "The charge is that because he was convicted of a felony in the past, he is prohibited from possessing a firearm."

Wayne's lawyer ended, "Although the Supreme Court has not yet decided the constitutional question, Justice Amy Coney Barrett recently wrote an appellate dissenting opinion in which she stated that “Absent evidence that he either belongs to a dangerous category or bears individual markers of risk, permanently disqualifying [a convicted felon] from possessing a gun violates the Second Amendment.”
