Daisy and her bandmates have been brought to the small screen with the help of Reese Witherspoon's production company "Hello Sunshine."

The crew behind the series had been captivated by the red-hot story for years; series creator Scott Neustader had "flipped" for an early version of the book back in 2017.

Sam Claflin, who plays The Six's extremely headstrong chief songwriter Billy Dunne, discussed the unexpected hiatus with the outlet.

"By the time we got back to Los Angeles in June of last year [2021], I think we were all so pumped and excited to see one another- and we'd improved so massively musically- that we then immediately just sort of gelled as a band," Claflin explained.

Other notable cast members include Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough as Daisy and Suki Waterhouse as the Six's keyboardist Karen!
