Pregnant Jessie J is over the moon about her upcoming show, and it seems her unborn baby is just as excited!
Her pregnancy news, announced earlier this month, is no doubt a thrill to her million fans, given that it comes more than a year after she lost another conception.
Nevertheless, being pregnant suits the expectant mama perfectly, and what else could she use to celebrate with supporters other than to host a one-of-a-kind concert in her hometown?
Jessie J Shows Unborn Baby Kicking In Excitement For Her New Show
As expected, the English singer is letting the world know how ecstatic her unborn baby is for her imminent show, coming up on February 27.
Using a video on her Instagram Story, she flaunted her baby bump, which at first moved in sync with her breathing, but then the little one kicked – twice! Although the first kick was not overly noticeable, the second one was, indicating his glee for his mama's concert and causing her to laugh.
In an attached message, Jessie J wrote, "The baby is excited for the show," adding an emoji holding back tears. Speaking of her upcoming show in the UK, she updated fans about the news on her Instagram with an eye-catching picture and a descriptive caption.
The poster featured a black and white shot of her with her burgeoning bump on full display while her eyes were closed as she placed her right hand on her hair. Her other hand was close to her baby bump, with her upper body clad in a longsleeved coat over a turtleneck with sleeves protruding from her coat's sleeves.
Details of the event were also added to the picture, including the theme, "An acoustic evening with Jessie J," the venue, London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, and the date, "27.02.2023." Several websites were highlighted at the bottom of the image, namely, jessiejofficial.com, gigsandtours.com, and ticketmaster.co.uk., presumably for fans to get their tickets.
Taking to the caption, the former "The Voice UK" coach began, "Think it's time I test the water the old fashioned way and sing some new songs live with the old ones like it's 2010 – Home town baby."
She added two emojis to the note, one of the United Kingdom's flag and another of a pregnant woman, before detailing when fans could get their tickets.
"O2 presale Weds 25th Jan 10am," she stated, "On sale Fri 27th Jan 10 am," while also urging people to head to her Insta Story for the links.
In conclusion, the "Price Tag" soloist credited her "big sister," a photographer, Hannah Macgregor, for capturing her beautiful shot. Numerous commenters were in support of the soon-to-be mother as they promised to be at the show, with some recalling her past consistently outstanding performances.
A 64-year-old supporter encouraged fellow fans to do themselves a "huge favor" and attend Jessie J's latest show while also expressing how moved they got during her acoustic concerts. Another commenter believed the event would be worth "every single penny" after recalling the "Nobody's Perfect" singer's acoustic set in New York last April, "definitely one of the best experiences" in their life.
A third fan hoped Jessie J felt well amid her pregnancy and gushed, "I'm so thrilled! Hope I can get two tickets," whereas an electrified fourth commenter exclaimed, "OMGGGGG yess yes yesssss!!!!!!!!"
The "Price Tag" songstress broke the news of her pregnancy on January 6 with an emotional video of her difficult yet fulfilling first trimester. As reported, the emotional clip detailed the moment she found out she was pregnant, her first sonogram appointment, and other major milestones, proving she was all about enjoying the journey to becoming a mother.
The "Domino" Vocalist Opens Up About Harrowing Experience With Miscarriage
Back in May 2022, Jessie J got candid on Steven Bartlett's "The Diary Of A CEO" podcast about losing her pregnancy and coping with the heartbreaking loss alone.
The Blast reported that she gave an account of what really happened, beginning with her waking up in her L.A. apartment and feeling that something was off. Given the odd feeling, the "Who You Are" songstress decided to go for an ultrasound, after which her doctor told her her baby's heartbeat was "very low," and there was "this ring" in her womb.
The signs implied her baby could be deformed, but she still could not ignore the feeling that something was wrong in her womb. So she did another scan with a second doctor who told her there was no heartbeat.
This made her feel like someone had taken from her everything she had ever wanted, considering that she was once told that she would be unable to get pregnant.
