Pamela Anderson has spilled some shocking facts about a flashing incident.
The Canadian-American personality has been in the news for her upcoming memoir, "Love, Pamela," which details her journey from a small-town Vancouver Island girl to being one of the most popular and sexualized women in the world. Although the book is slated for a January 31 release, a recent excerpt from the book has made it one of the most controversial book releases of the year.
Pamela Anderson Accuses Tim Allen Of Flashing Her While On Set In The '90s
In the excerpt from the forthcoming memoir, Anderson alleged that the actor and comedian Tim Allen flashed her. Claiming that the incident happened while they were on the set of the TV show "Home Improvement" in 1991, the model recalled:
"On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe. He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably."
The excerpt, shared by Variety ahead of its month's end release, alleged that Allen was 37 years old at the time while Anderson was 23. It is worth noting that the "Last Man Standing" actor could have been referring to the actress' stint as a Playboy model, which teleported her into becoming an internationally recognized sex symbol.
Not one to accept such allegations, Allen told the outlet, "No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing," in a statement. As fans wait anxiously for the memoir's release, Anderson has touched on another dramatic episode in her life — the sex tape that went viral in the mid-90s.
According to The Blast, the now-55-year-old opened up about the 1995 incident that influenced how several people saw her earlier this month. Although she said she understood people's varying opinions on the tape, she needed them to realize that "it was stolen property" and was only for her and Tommy Lee, her co-star and partner at the time, to watch. Recounting the reason behind making the tape, Anderson revealed:
"I mean, we were naked all the time and filming each other and being silly, but those tapes were not meant for anybody else to see."
The "Dancing with the Stars" contestant further divulged her choice not to watch the risqué video, which was sold to news outlets by a former employee who stole it. "And I've not seen it to this day. It was very hurtful," Anderson concluded.
There is no doubt that the "Some Kind of Wonderful" star would be spilling more details of the incident in "Love, Pamela." In fact, fans might even glimpse her tumultuous marriage to Lee, which lasted only three years.
The pair's relationship was previously front and center in the Hulu drama miniseries, "Pam & Tommy," which attracted even more attention to their sex tape. It focused on the whirlwind romance that Lee and Anderson enjoyed, getting married after only knowing each other for 96 hours.
The infamous tape was recorded during their honeymoon at Lake Mead.
The 'Bigg Boss' Guest Star Had To Leave Her Marriage After A Physical Abuse Incident
Besides partly soiling her reputation amongst a few people, it turned out that the sex tape also ruined Anderson's marriage with Lee. The Blast reported that the "Scary Movie 3" actress highlighted the life-changing moment in her book as "The hardest, lowest, most difficult point of [her] life."
Referring to the night her marriage crumbled as when "h*ll began," the media personality recounted that she and Lee had gotten into an argument that ended with the drummer physically assaulting her.
"I still couldn't believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night," she stated of her ex-husband, who paid for his crime by spending six months in jail.
Per Anderson's book, Lee had kicked her in the back as she held their second child, seven-month-old Dylan, during the altercation. The unfortunate occurrence led her to decide to "protect my babies." Despite the overwhelming end of their marriage, the "Barb Wire" actress has remained grateful for Lee because of her sons, who are now adults.
