During the memorial service, the late singer's first daughter, actress Riley, got so emotional that she couldn't deliver her eulogy and had to ask her husband to read it for her. Her husband, Australian stuntman Ben Smith-Peterson, obliged and, while reading, revealed that they'd made Lisa Marie a grandmother not long before her death.

According to Daily Mail, the day before the memorial, Riley had been photographed carrying a baby as she finally arrived at Graceland for the ceremony. The eulogy read, "Thank you for showing me love is the only thing that matters in this life. I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me, the way you loved my brother and my sisters."
