This isn't for a few seconds and then plopping back down. Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin literally walked across a room on her hands today, showing her 1 million Instagram followers that despite retiring aged just 22 in 2012, nothing's been forgotten. The 31-year-old five-time Olympic medalist, fresh from launching her YouTube channel, posted a jaw-dropping video of herself traversing a gym while upside-down on her hands, and she even turned it into a good deed. Check out the video below.

Scroll for the video. Nastia, who admitted gaining 10-20 pounds after retiring and even feeling "lost" in regular gyms, was back in her element here and showing off a skillset contributing to her 2008 all-around Olympic champion status.
The video showed the Dallas, TX-based star in a gymnastics arena and powerfully making her way across blue flooring – fully on her hands. Nastia, wearing tiny black spandex shorts and a matching crop top, also sported white sneakers. For once, nobody was looking at the wardrobe.
Nastia, who had posed with fellow Olympic medalist Alicia Sacramone Quinn in an opening throwback photo, then took to her caption to announce something exciting. The "best" TBT she'd ever posted was kicking off:
"@aliciasacramonequinn and I have teamed up to compete against each other in a fun fitness competition called The Big Fight to raise funds and awareness for a cause close to both of our hearts—mental health awareness."
Yup, these two will be going up against one another. Keep scrolling for more snaps.

Nastia added: "We’ll be competing in strength, gymnastics, dodgeball, and more. Swipe to see me training because you know I’m taking this as seriously as I did the Olympics. ?."
Nastia, whose side gigs include beauty blogging and her retailing her $55 Celery Green Cream as part of her Volition collab, is now branching out farther with just last night bringing her YouTube launch. Liukin promised fans would see the "real" her, but she isn't going to spill all the "tea."

Nastia, raised by Olympic parents and leaving Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union, has been shouting out her gymnastics lifestyle semi-regularly on Instagram. 2020 has brought the beauty back-flipping across her kitchen to encourage COVID safety, with a peek at her 2008 Olympic glory and "Dancing With the Stars" stint shown in her debut YouTube video.
Nastia might appear all smiles, but this girl has fire in her. In October, she clapped back for major headlines after a fan DM asked her how she feels about "promoting borderline anorexia looking bodies."
