“Yeah, so I’m Nastia” – Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin didn’t pick a low-key look to kick off her YouTube channel yesterday. The five-time Olympic medalist, already followed by 1 million on her Instagram, was excited to debut her new “journey” on Wednesday by welcoming fans on YouTube, with the Moscow-born star dazzling in a sheer, sparkly, and feathered top to showcase her girly look. Nastia’s November 12 join date is likely one fans won’t forget. Check out the feathery action below.

Nastia, who made October headlines both for her massive anorexia clap-back and ringing in her 31st birthday, alerted her IG followers to her YouTube by posing in selfie mode and in her gorgeous look. The 2008 all-around Olympic champion, showing off her slender arms, wore a long-sleeved, nude-and-silver sheer top with fluffy feathers galore, plus simple jeans – the beauty blogger doesn’t live in spandex.
“My youtube channel just launched. come follow along and get to know the REAL me – link in bio. go do all the things – like, subscribe, comment, whatever whatever. k bye :),” she wrote.
Over on Nastia’s YouTube, footage offered a little more. The Dallas, TX-based star was seen in the same look – “Still getting used to being a YouTuber,” she said, adding: “I’m Nastia and welcome to my channel!”
Nastia, listing her prestigious Olympic achievements and “Dancing With the Stars” past, then said she wanted to dispel “this one perception of me,” adding that is not “who I am on a day-to-day.” The blonde, who has been going Q&A on her Instagram, did, however, say she’d be keeping the “glimpse into the real Nastia” a little private. She doesn’t share everything.
Nastia might showcase everything from her massive thigh gap and dog Harley to her super-stylish interiors, but the former athlete remains fiercely private. While she has opened up about ending her three-year engagement to ice hockey player Matt Lombardi, boy talk is now off-limits, with Nastia using the word as she warned fans not to get their hopes up.
“So, don’t think that you guys are getting all the tea,” she said.
Nastia will, however, open up on everything from fitness to food. Bikini action after the video.
Nastia was just 22 when she retired from professional gymnastics back in 2012. Four years later, and speaking to The Cut, Nastia revealed the mental and physical consequences of quitting the pro beams.
“I felt so lost for a good year,” she told the media outlet, adding: “I gained probably 10 to 20 pounds, because when you stop doing something and just go cold turkey your body doesn’t even know what to do. I finally feel like I’ve found my rhythm again.”
