Rapper Future's Ex-Girlfriend Lori Harvey Avoids Jail Time In Hit-And-Run Case

Rapper Future's ex-girlfriend Lori Harvey scored a sweet deal in her hit-and-run case and will avoid jail time.
According to reports, Lori worked out a plea with Los Angeles prosecutors in her criminal case. She appeared in court this week to enter a plea of no contest. In exchange, Lori was sentenced to 2 years probation.
Back in October, Lori was driving a Mercedes SUV around Beverly Hills. She allegedly crashed her car into another car and flipped her vehicle. She was accused of fleeing the scene before cops arrived.
Once the police arrived at the scene, they were able to track down Lori. The Beverly Hills Police Department arrested Lori on two counts: “misdemeanor hit and run and delaying a police investigation.”
She was arrested and released on the scene. The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office filed 2 charges relating to the October hit and run arrest. Lori was charged with misdemeanors for resisting/delaying/obstructing a peace officer and hit and run which resulted in property damage. She was facing one-year behind bars on obstructing a police officer charge.
Lori wasn't playing around with the case and hired a top lawyer, Blair Berk. Her attorney is known for helping celebrities Lindsay Lohan and Mel Gibson get through their criminal cases with favorable plea deals. It appears Blair was able to help Lori out quite a bit.
2020 has been quite the year for Lori. She shocked her fans by breaking up with the rapper Future this summer. The two unfollowed each other on social media. Future took it a step further by deleting all trace of Lori from his profile.
Lori hasn't let the breakup get her done and has been living her best life. The model has made time to travel the world with friends, throw yacht parties with her girlfriends, partied with her BFF Teyana Taylor on Halloween
Future's ex has reportedly already moved on to another man. She's been spotted out and about with Akon's brother Abou "Bu" Thiam in Miami. A tipster saw the two getting extra close outside a nightclub. The two have yet to comment on their situation.
Future is still battling it out in court with a Florida woman named Eliza Reign. She sued Future for paternity, child support, and custody. In the suit, Eliza accused him of being the father to her 1-year-old daughter Reign.
The rapper dragged his feet for months before finally submitting to a DNA test. The results showed he was indeed the father of the baby girl. The two are currently fighting in court over the amount of child support he will pau monthly.
