Heather Rae Young is closer to her due date than ever, and she is not backing down from updating her three million followers on her journey.
So far, she has told fans about her battle with sciatica, choosing a theme for her unborn baby's nursery, and balancing pregnancy with filming for her upcoming series, "The Flipping El Moussas," with her husband, Tarek El Moussa. Now, Heather is sharing a peek at her hospital go-bag weeks after she told fans that they would get to see what she packed for her son's birth.
Heather Rae Young Overpacks For Her First Baby Delivery
Over the last few months, Heather has proven that she is an organizer who can go the extra mile for her comfort while being a pregnant stepmother to Tarek's two kids β Brayden and Taylor. The expectant mother reminded fans of that skill when she shared a clip that showed her sitting on an enormous bed filled with black, white, and nude pillows.
The "Selling Sunset" star, who is clad in a floral robe and gray bottoms, held a similarly large "Mommy Bag" in her hands as she told viewers, "I'm going to show you guys what I'm bringing to the hospital. I probably overpacked, which is totally fine because I am a first-time baby mom."
After noting how "organized" she is in the Instagram clip, Heather admitted that she "just wanted to make sure my baby bag was done way ahead of time." She then proceeded to show the good stuff, which included "two going home outfits" for her unborn son β because she was unaware of what size he would be, a beanie β to regulate his head's temperature, slippers, and a thermal face spray.
The Playboy Playmate alum also packed toothpaste, eye masks for herself and Tarek, throat lozenges, body and makeup wipes, socks, chapsticks, hair ties, a breastfeeding bra, and nipple pads.
Next, Heather showed her "going home outfit," which she picked for coziness and comfort, matching onesies, two hospital robes, mouthwash, blankets, and button-down pajamas to help with "skin to skin" with her baby.
Despite packing that much stuff, the excited mother-to-be revealed that she "would probably add a few more things" to the bag later. "Can you tell mama's veryy ready for her boy to be hereβ¦ π" the "Love in the Time of Machines" star queried in the caption before admitting that packing her hospital bag was "something that genuinely made me excited."
Heather's comment section was soon filled with well-wishes and tips, with one person advising her, "Make sure to steal everything from the hospital you can! Diapers, wipes, and the giant undies and pads they give you!! Trust me you will need them lol! Best wishes mama." "I would definitely add [a] pacifier and swaddle blankets," another instructed.
Meanwhile, a handful of people seemed unimpressed with her packing choices. One asked, "Is she planning on staying at the hospital for like a month?? It's not summer camp, honey." A second person claimed, "The nurses are going to get a kick out of this," and a third asked her to "get a life."

Despite the mixed reaction, Heather has done her bit in doing what she promised her fans last month. According to The Blast, the actress mentioned showing the hospital bag in an Instagram post about learning new things from the birthing coach who came to her house to help her. The 35-year-old wrote partly:
"Not sure about any of my mamas out there, but with their first baby, I swear the moment I felt a contraction I probably would've freaked out [and] made Tarek stop whatever he was doing to take me to the hospital. She taught me some tricks to try before rushing to the hospital- so much information I did not know."
The post had resulted in Heather's supporters showing her love and giving her other helpful tips.
The Realtor Says Goodbye To Sciatica Ahead Of Son's Imminent Arrival
The Blast reported that the "Chillerama" star finally caught a break from her sciatica after months of dealing with the "unbearable" pain. Heather shared the news in an Instagram Story update featuring her dog, Bugz.
The pair were on a walk around what could have been the reality star's Newport Beach neighborhood as she stated off camera, "Update: my sciatica is gone. I just started walking Bugz again yesterday. I haven't exercised or walked in a long time. So, I'm going slow."
The real estate agent added that she was attempting "to take daily walks" until her son's arrival later this month. Across the 18-second video, Heather provided a list of the tips that helped her eliminate the pain.
They were "Resting as much as possible when I could, physical therapy 2 times a week, acupuncture 2 times a week," and alternating ice and heat.
