"Stranger Things" star Finn Wolfhard finally reacted to co-star Millie Bobby Brown's statements about their first kiss on set. Brown was featured in Vanity Fair's lie-detector series and revealed that Wolfhard is a "lousy kisser." The actor finally addressed her viral comments, saying he was completely "fine with it."

Wolfhard revealed that Brown was his first on-screen kiss and said he didn't know how to approach the scene. He said his confusion almost led to him headbutting the actress and that he'd have been just as bad offscreen. Wolfhard and Brown have worked together on "Stranger Things" since they were 13 and 12 years old, respectively.

Wolfhard previously spoke about the kiss during an interview with Jimmy Fallon and another with Vulture magazine. He's set to feature in the upcoming film "When You Finish Saving the World," which is directed by Jesse Eisenberg. Brown herself featured in the recently released "Enola Holmes 2" and stars in the upcoming film "Damsel."

In November 2022, Brown was featured on Vanity Fair's lie-detector series, where the magazine asked her several questions about her experiences on "Stranger Things." One question was about her infamous kiss with Wolfhard, and the interviewer asked if the actor was "just a lousy kisser?"

Brown responded with a yes, and the lie detector confirmed that it was the truth. The interviewer asked again, "So he hasn't gotten better?" And Brown responded, "Not with me, no." The lie detector confirmed that she'd told the truth again. When the interviewer pointed out that Wolfhard would also see the interview, Brown seemed not to mind, saying, "That's OK."

During a 2016 interview with Interview magazine, Brown also criticized Wolfhard's kissing abilities. She said, "I did have to kiss Finn. Finn reacted quite well and I didn't. I felt really bad afterward." However, the actress noted that the kiss was part of the job, so she accepted it and moved on.

During a recent preview of Wolfhard's appearance on "The Drew Barrymore Show," via Insider, he finally reacted to Brown's statements about their kiss. He said, "You know what? I was fine with it. My first, like, on-screen kiss was with Millie, and so, but I didn't know how to like approach that in any way."

Wolfhard continued, "There was no, just was, like, 'You're gonna do this thing, and at the end of the take you're gonna kiss her." He revealed that he was so confused about the whole situation he "almost headbutted her." The actor further stated he was just 12 at the time, so he'd likely have done the same thing even if he was offscreen.

They've Spoken About The Kiss Before

Wolfhard and Brown have worked together on "Stranger Things" since its premiere in 2016. At the time, they were just 13 and 12 years old, respectively. The infamous kiss was during the show's first season, and they previously spoke about it during a 2016 interview on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

While on a 2016 interview with Vulture, Wolfhard spoke about the kiss, saying they got it on the first take. He then described Brown's reaction, saying, "Millie got up and just looked, like, disappointed. Then she yelled out, 'Kissing sucks. That sucked.' That's what she said. It was the funniest reaction I've ever seen on a person because I was her first kiss."

Wolfhard is featured in the upcoming "When You Finish Saving the World," which is Jesse Eisenberg's directorial debut. The film explores the volatile relationship between a mother and son and premieres in the US on January 20th.

On the other hand, Brown recently featured in "Enola Holmes 2" and stars in the upcoming "The Electric State." She will also play the role of a young warrior princess named Eloise in the upcoming action fantasy movie, "Damsel." The film follows Eloise as she discovers that she's a dragon sacrifice and fights for her life after being left for dead.
